Pretty much the same here, find all those pokemon pretty regularly around here too.

I live N1 London and we have a drowzee infestation.  

Finally ticked over to level 20 this morning, it's getting much harder to go up levels.

Some people must play this game literally non stop.  I mean I'm pretty into it, even stopped riding to work so I could walk and clock up the KM's whilst catching Pokemon, but that is going to take forever.  How do all the people I see in Gyms get to the high 20s and even 30s?  That's upwards of 5 hours a day I rekon?  Surely all those who cheated early were banned?

I'm level 18 and it's taking an age to level up. Doesn't help that i basically ignore any Pidgey, Rattata and Drowzee I see now

Yep you simply need to catch them all, especially the Pidgeys.

Catch an almighty amount of Pidgey, Rattata, Caterpie, Weedle etc.. Then stick on a lucky egg and just do them all first stage evolutions. I went from level 15 to level 18 in one night a few weeks back. 1000xp every evolution and it takes no time, just make sure you save any and all evolutions.

Found a Bulbasaur spawn on a golf course near my house. Spent an hour there the other night and left with 48 Bulbasaur candy and a 589 Bulbasaur to evolve. Going to save up until 125 candies for the Venasaur and see if i can get a better CP.

1600+ exeggutor evolved (600 exeggcute) , 1400+ arcanine (650+ growlithe), 1400+ rapidash (700 ponyta) and a 1300+ rhydon (630 rhyhorn). 

 

Have around 120 abra candies but the best abra I have is 280 cp/423 cp Kadabra. Simply waiting for a strong Abra to hatch since it seems impossible to find a strong abra in the wild. 

 

Also, why is my 10km egg giving me a bloody 400+ onix, I am level 20 for god's sake and deserved a good lapras/scyther. Sucked. Though did get a 1100 Cp aerodactyl.

 

Waiting for more 10km eggs as dont want to waste the temporary incubators.

How did you get enough ponyta candy to evolve it?  I've seen one in the wild and also on level 20

My place here is filled Ponytas, Growlithe, geodudes, rhyhorns, sandshrews. (along with the annoying pidgeys and rattatas)

Of those I've had 1 Ryhorn and 2 Growlithes.

Just heard of a Charmander nest in Nottingham so will be checking that out this weekend. I'll keep you all posted if i manage to get a Charizard!

Aghh that's annoying! Mr Mime seem quite common around where i live.

The new appraisal system is great, you can find out which of your Pokemon has the potential to be the strongest, as it won't necessarily be the one with highest CP/HP.


Example:
If you have two Bulbasours and you hear the below line on one of them after requesting an appraisal, it would be best to concentrate your efforts on that Bulbasour.

Anything less than this exact line means it is not possible for it to become as strong as the game physically allows.

• Blanche (Team Mystic): “Overall, your (Pokemon Name) is a wonder! What a breathtaking Pokemon!”

• Candela (Team Valor): Overall, your (Pokemon Name) simply amazes me. It can accomplish anything!

• Spark (Team Instinct): Overall, your (Pokemon Name) looks like it can really battle with the best of them!

It might be cool but now I'm stuck with a bunch of sh*t pokemon. Anyone been able to find a slowpoke that's good in battle?

Yeah it's sh*te. Haven't played it for a month. 

Takes too long to level up past 20. No way of tracking either.

Are you still alive? I'm starting to worry that either some winos or a particularly belligerent Charmander mauled you to death.

Haha! Works really picked up lately with a lot of our projects coming to an end so not really had time to come on here or play Pokemon at all. Got a 10km egg on the go that i might try to hatch before next week.
