David Luiz back at Chelsea

Although I shouldn't be listened to for a while since I backed us to put on a dominating 3 points performance yesterday I always backed luiz to do well under conte he was very sensible last night and to be fair that's his biggest weakness if he shakes it he is a very talented football player and he is a powerful and quick athlete and we really need that right now

Did you not witness his free kicks the time he left? He was consistently putting them in row z.

I'd wager they were better than Fabregas' piss poor effort last night.

Luiz has the technique and power for that sort of thing. I'd let him take them every time before Cesc.

That was the thing. If it was further away, i would have fancied Luiz as he is a clean hitter of the ball. This was near the edge and i think Cesc had a better chance. Execution is always different.

Cesc had the better chance......really?

Because you have never seen him score free kicks or you have a crystal ball that no one has heard of?

No because he took the kick and failed to clear the wall, or did you miss that bit?

Ah if only everyone could use hindsight like you. Can you prove Luiz would score it by going back in time? This is a meaningless discussion.

It was crying out to be smashed, Cesc don't do them.

We had two players in the wall and it was all set up for Luiz to smash it into the gap they would quickly vacate.

All Cesc did was tap it, that little dink thing he does, straight into the chests of the Liverpool wall.

Sure we will see in the next game if that situation presents itself. My memory of Luiz is sending all his free kicks to the moon during the end of his tenure and some time before it. I was at a point where I was praying i don't see him taking it because there was zero chance he was getting it on target.

How is it hindsight? Luiz is known for his set pieces, Fabregas isn't so much, I've seen him take kicks that close many a time and score, not all smashing his foot through it either, some subtle ones with the inside of his foot. Try YouTube mate....it's better than a 'crystal ball'

Says more about you to be honest. Maybe you didn't watch all of the games? I suppose you think Willian is sh*t at set pieces too?
