It's all if's and buts with the likes of De Bruyne. He wasn't the same player he is today when we had him...he had to go to Germany and play week in/week out to get to where he is. That might have happened had he stayed and just as easily it may not have.

Not possible with only a few play minutes.

Perhaps you didn't see it.

But the rest of the world did.

The rest of the world seen it?

lol

No they didn't, De Bruyne was a talent but he wasn't anywhere near the player he is now...otherwise we wouldn't have sold him.

Well Chelsbear, ...

I still can show you some reactions on this forum. I can show you some reactions on others, even international threads. I can show you some YouTube reactions, even newspapers, ... In Flemish, French, German, Spanish, ...

To sell him was not a mistake.

Gave him just 345 play minutes, that was a mistake. A big one!

Other players at the time were doing more on the park than Kevin so I'm not sure why you think he had a right to play?

He should have stuck around and we should have done more to keep him or at least a buy back clause but we didn't. He wasn't a fantastic player at that time but rather a rought around the edges talent.

You are going on like we sold messi. Then again you do have previous for going a little bit overboard with all things Belgian.

No I don't. It's not a Belgian case.

I only give a fact.

And indeed. He's not Messi.

Other players? Who? At that time the team was bad and Kevin did very well in the preparation. He should have played the final against Bayern. But no, no chance, even not in the rest of the games. Only a few minutes (325 minutes) in a not good running team. (Perhaps you forgot it?)

Such a shame, don't you think?

I honestly think the board should ask Eden for his opinion in this matter. I can see Eden getting upset about us pulling thorgan out of a good situation and offloading him somewhere less ideal just for a quick buck.

Did you even watch the game against Hull?

It's not a fact just because you say it fella.

What you have there is an opinion, that's all.

But he's certainly clocked up enough MOTM performances since we sold him.

The club (and Mourinho) f**ked up on this one - not a case of hindsight, most of us knew he was decent and could become an ideal replacement for Lamps.

Anyway, let it go Nibs, let it go.................................!!

His first few games of the season were very good, then he had a few sh*te performances in a row and got dropped from the team and never re-surfaced, whether that can be blamed on the attitude of Jose or Kevin we have no way of knowing.

He wasnt man of the match about a month later against Swindon in the league cup, I can assure you...

Noone was. Terrible game.

You could count his play minutes by yourself, Chelsbear.

Ofcourse you do, Jonty.

"Piet, I find it a shame too, but the boy wants to leave. He doesn't want to train under me anymore."

'I told him: "Yes, the boy wants to play. He's ready for it." I have tried to convince him of Kevin's qualities. But then Mourinho repeated: "Piet, he doesn't want to train."

Someone seems to know. BTW, can we get the f*ck over it already? This thread is for former player Thorgan Hazard :laugh2:

He was fantastic for Werder Bremen too. His ability was quite clear to see and selling him was a mistake. The hindsight is Oscar turning our so sh*t. Didn't see that coming.

He has still a forum thread in Bremen.

Same as here. Just with us its every thread

He's been excellent this year. I'd love for us to sign him back, but we need to think of the long term implications. Currently Eden isn't looking like his long term future is at Chelsea, would his brother want to leave an exciting, young and impressive side in Gladbach and come back to warm the bench with us for six months followed by his brother possibly moving on?

I can't see it happening if I'm honest, knowing us we'll probably sign him in 4 years for £50m+ and he'll be complete sh*t
