August 31, 20187 yr Currently unsure about Leeds using our academy players to boost their squad numbers for the season on the cheap. So far Jamal Blackman has sat on the bench occupying the number 2 goalkeeper spot. Lewis Baker is also having to settle for a place on the bench. Defeating the purpose of a loan move for me Hopefully they have bigger plans for Izzy than the above. Appreciate it's early days and all the players could force their way in to the team but not a great start...

Well it won't be that cheap for Leeds and to be honest a season under Bielsa could be great for their careers it is also very similar to Sarriball so can't be bad for them in a Chelsea perspective either Edited August 31, 20187 yr by PedroMendez
November 22, 20196 yr 5 assists for Luton this season, if Pedro/Giroud is on the move in January will be interesting to see if the club recalls him. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/izzy-brown/leistungsdaten/spieler/245805 Edited November 22, 20196 yr by the special one
November 29, 20196 yr Good to see him playing well, hopefully means he gets signed permanently by them and we can offload another player off our still massive loan army
April 6, 20233 yr Bringing back this thread, hes just announced his retirement from football because of injuries! The potential was so high with him at one point, one of the standouts in that great run of youth football we had from 13-18 https://twitter.com/izzyjaybrown/status/1643960815278604288?s=20 Edited April 6, 20233 yr by Big Nigel
April 7, 20233 yr He must be gutted, but seems to have handled it with a great attitude judging from his very nice retirement notice. Good luck to him for his life after pro football.
April 8, 20233 yr Must have taken a huge mental toll on him though, seeing the fame he had and what he was tipped to be become by former coaches (Mourinho) and seeing his fellow players he won the Youth Cup with make big careers in the top leagues. People will say he wasted his career coming here and in terms of lack of football games, he did, however he is also an example of why players look for a lot of money because one injury can change your whole life/career. If he stayed on at WBA for example and got similar injuries, he would not be no way near financially comfortable. A real shame for him but like he said himself, football does not define him as a person.
