48-team World Cup 2026

I only saw the second half, the panel is split on the McTomminay penalty shout.

Disappointed Scotland left it so late to go for it.

Thought both McTomminay and McGinn put in a shift late on to try and effect the game.

Hakimi played very well.

Brazil are just the same side of old..the samba football has gone due to most if not all of their squad playing European style football and having an Italian coach, as great as Carlo is, doesn’t help either.

Like sitting the has been CR7 on the bench so they play with 11 and not 10 men

I don't think against Congo he is the problem but you need a very good reason to start a 41 years old.

Scotland didn’t play badly. Despite the very early Morocco goal. And it was a decent finish.

Morocco certainly had the chances to kill the game off.

Down to the Brazil game for Scotland now!

A tight 0-1 scoreline will have done Scotland no harm in the best of the third place positions.👍Good effort especially late on, they had the Moroccans on the back foot.

My England crystal ball is currently showing....

round of 32 Colombia,

round of 16 Mexico,

Quarter Final France,

Semi final Argentina

I didn’t stay up to watch it.

Watched the highlights ‘live’ on YouTube as they didn’t have the Final Score on the intro.

I thought Scotland might well have had a penalty. I’ve seen them given for far less.

On the other hand, (if you pardon the pun), the Scotland keeper made a few very good saves.

So much for my 3-1 prediction….😀

Disappointing result for Australia. Was hoping for a draw pre-game, but Poch sets his teams up well.

Hopefully Turkey and Paraguay can draw to each other to keep us 2nd.

Australia were dogged, the US more talented across the park. Poch is getting a tune out of them.

Just come back from the US for work. Was an interesting experience.

Brobby whoever recruited him at Sunderland needs a medal.

The clowns we have couldn’t find a gold in a gold mine.

Our SDs confused him with Mr Blobby.

They just got lucky, not much talent ever comes out of Jong A**x.

Put him upfront with Pedro from the left and Palmer free role and Estevao on the right and we might avoid relegation 😂
