Generally speaking VAR has been a lot less intrusive at the World Cup. No one is talking about it - seems a Monday morning headline every weekend with PL.

21 hours ago21 hr And it wasn’t too little too late either. 2-2. And Belgium have been rubbish for 85 minutes.

Immigration hassles for players, officials and fans. Over priced match tickets and travel costs. And the worst is probably yet to come when DT turns up at the final and gets an on pitch hand job from Infantino.Your stadiums though, are magnificent.

Hydration breaks aside, and not intended to be inflammatory at all, the only place I see any negativity / cynicism to the World Cup is this forum. Happened with club World Cup also. Doesn’t mean others don’t share your sentiment. Just ask anyone attending, or many other nations traveling to it, and it’s overwhelming positivity. As I said, to each their own. Sorry it’s killing football for you. To me this is night and day more enjoyable than the premier league. Respect your opinion though.
19 hours ago19 hr Clear penalty for me. The contact was obvious, so the only question was whether it was a fair challenge or not. The Belgian player was about to take a touch, and the Senegal player simply kicked his leg.

Their home record is pretty good. Their fans are like another player . . .Their fans are intense. Then there is the altitude. Whats the preparation for that? don't you have to spend weeks adjusting to the altitude?

Travel to the location only a few hours before kickoff.while being the better option, #1 isn't really feasible, so that leaves #2.It's unfair—no other way to put it. It's a much bigger advantage than any crowd, but we will be hearing about the crowd, not the altitude, until the kickoff. 😉

I mean they won't be getting any extra recovery time.
18 hours ago18 hr Team USA is really well suited to poch ball. Lots of fitness, effort and speed - works well with the confident attitude of Team America. USA kit? I thought it was quite ridiculous at first, but I'm beginning to quite like it now.

It’s a bad deal any way you look at it.Now some players are more or less affected by it and it’s hard to know beforehand. 2km high is high but not La Paz high, so hopefully it’s a somewhat fair match. Would very much like to see Brazil x England in Miami. Mexico at sea level would be easier for Brazil, but I like the game more. I think Brazil will beat Norway, but evidently no guarantees.
