I agree with all your points Bobby bar the last one, as much as Jose will always be a massive part of our history i don't feel he is getting it harshly right now. What has to be remembered is as a fanbase we gave Jose everything, even cheered his name while he was doing the worst job of a manager in PL if not English football history and he repays us by acting in a serially bitter way. Lampard and Cech got cheered to the rafters when they returned with a rival, it takes a lot for Chelsea fans to turn against a massive figure in the clubs history.

Although that thread is getting ridiculous but for both extremes, we have Ivan and a few others who pass everything he says as a dig and others were Jose could brand all Chelsea fans pondlife scum and they would still try to pass it off as a hidden compliment.

It's not that I find it so harsh, I find it quite sad. I worry we have sone supporters who give more a sh*t about him failing than anything else. I get it he's been a dick for a while. But the obsession to comb over every thing up he says just isn't healthy IMO.

Same here. I don't really feel any rivalry to them. Also if it came down to City, United, Arsenal, Liverpool or Spurs to win the league I'd choose City anyday over that lot.

Im not sure who I'd prefer now but under Fergie i actually saw United as the lesser evil (obviously out of the seeimingly realistic winners, in an ideal world a Leicester story happens every time we can't win it).

My reasoning was damage was already done in terms of them dominating, whats another to an already unassailable number? Where-as the others would change the goalposts. City win and they become a more attractive proposition for players plus get close to our haul, Arsenal win and it changes the mentality of the club and takes them out of transition and as for Spurs and Liverpool, let's not go there........

The only time I felt a rivalry, was in 1989 at Maine Rd. We won 3-2 and won the 2nd Div that season with 99 points. The famous Tony Dorigo goal running from the half way line to score. Sorry for being off topic.

The game had far more atmosphere when more away fans were allowed in, with the away fans given the end behind one goal and the home fans the other.

Imo the biggest single thing to spoil the atmosphere was making games ticket only, sit where you can, usually not with your mates. Turnstiles and terracing meant you could go in together and stick together and sing all those songs you have been singing all day on the way to the match.

Safe standing would without a doubt increase atmosphere, I would introduce that at the earliest and hope we are making provision for it in the new stadium design. A ridiculous over reaction to make grounds all seated.

A return of a terraced Shed end for the new stadium, would be welcomed from my point of view. No away support in the Shed, put the away support in the West Stand if possible.

Can see the merits in that , though as i stated I wouldn't be against all grounds were possible having away fans one end and the home the other if there was enough provision for all in one end. This though will never happen again, like the days when you could walk around the ground at half time.

Opposing supporters at opposing ends is the ideal scenario for me also. I feel that we lost a piece of Chelsea and Stamford Bridge, when our singing supporters were not re located in the new Shed. Liverpool still have the Kop, United still have the Stretford, and there are still many supporters around now that were in the Shed back in the day. Does anyone have any inside info concerning the new stadium plans

Go home. You're drunk.

I'm not crazy obviously Kante is amazing and is the better midfielder, but I think as Matic is slightly better with the ball and going forward, as well as being is generally an imposing presence he adds greater balance.

I think because he is a bit gangly and inelegant at times he gets a lot of unwarranted stick.

I always though that was simply down to the MH stand going up first.

I truly despise every neutral fan's favourite club (according to the media)

LIVERPOOL

That opinion isn't as unpopular as you think, that was proven when City beat Liverpool to the title a few years back. Liverpool fans, people in the media and football pundits were the only people that wanted Liverpool to win, the majority of fans were taking the piss when Liverpool bottled it.

It would be interesting to see why so many people despise Liverpool. I have admiration for them as a team in the 80s but despise them for an incident I was party  to in 1977. Scumbag fans, who stand out above many in a time when it wasnt easy to be shocked.

I wouldn't know where to begin.....

Agreed. I will say though, when we went to Sheffield Wed for the famous Tuesday night 4-4 draw in the League Cup replay in 84/85, the old bill tried cramming everyone into just 2 - 3 terraced sections, there were people being crushed onto the sides and lower front fences . When many fans tried jumping over into a vacant section or onto the pitch, the old bill were attacking the fans with their truncheons. At the back of the section I was in there were people jumping on shoulders to try and get into the seats above. It was bedlam. However not one word in the press about the poor police organisation. I would add Iam in no way attempting to minimalise Hillsborough, but just to point out it was disaster waiting to happen.

Hillsborough was a shocking tragedy don`t get me wrong...was at Leicester the day of that disaster..thousands crammed into the terracing with more still to get in...and the police still trying to cram us in...w**kers!

It`s the emotional blackmail liverpool fans try to force down our throats all the time.

I don`t hate city..so far...but i do find it amusing that they`re trying to emulate us by throwing money at the team but not getting the same rewards as us  #Chelseawannabees

I think he thought it was the outrageous thread though....

No I saved this one for that thread

I really didn't enjoy Leicester winning the league last season.

I did. Given how badly our season panned out, Leicester's unbelievable triumph(I still can't really believe they did it)  was the perfect consolation.
