Interesting game - Although I don't think Moses, Erikson or Matic should be anywhere near a world XI

I have gone with a functional team rather than necessarily an XI formed of the best players (i.e Vidal wouldn't make a best players team but adds the right balance in midfield for me

With the one player only rule from each nation it becomes a lot harder to find players in certain positions. As defensive minded midfielders, Kante(Absolute beast) and Matic is pretty damn good combo. Moses right up there with the best WB/FB.

Moses is no where near Walker or Carvajal, let alone Alves at 34.

This is getting pretty close to mine.

I'd probably take out Busquets and Varane for Kante and Ramos.  Goals I'd probably have De Gea or Neur if the latter still has it.  The goalkeeper is the toughest position because you use all your good countries with outfield players.

Well Matic is as good as Busquets if not better. Erickson is a top, top player, better than Rakitic.

All opinions isn't it. Bonnucci has had a hard time of it in Milan colours apparently.

Some interesting teams occur when you can only use one from each country.

Surprised Kane isn't getting any love.

Matic is not at the same level as Busquets and deffiantly not better. Busquets is world class in his position. I would say Erickson is below Rakitic.

I was thinking the same as you regarding Kante and Ramos. I couldn't get in De Gea or Neur. I guess Buffon could be a pick or the new young keeper at Milan.

Erickson is world class pal. Busquets is well overrated. Don't get high on him cos he plays for Barcelona. Matic could do the exact same job and more.

I know its RM heavy but well, they have dominated world football for the last 4 years (3 CLs out of 4 is just out of the world). Godin i feel is still one of the best CBs around. Neymar and Messi choose themselves.

It was only when thinking of right backs that I realised how few truly world class players there are in that position these days, compared to the likes of Zanetti, Cafu, Thuram, Neville, Zambrotta etc. Other than that I reckon that'd be my preferred team

Bonnuci has had a shocker of a season in Italy apparently. Van Dyke has proven nothing. Alba is a decent left back but by no means the best left back in the world. Neuer isn't on De Gea level. Think a lot the teams posted here are equally good.
