April 8, 20188 yr Sorry if this kind of thing has been posted before but I was wondering which goals (against us) stand out for you. Whether it's last minute heart-breakers or 30 yard wonder goals I was interested in everyone's thoughts. Just off the top of my head I clearly remember: Ronaldinho (Barcelona) Vs Chelsea. 2005. The 'toe poke' was so inventive and out of the blue that it stunned the crowd into silence and cemented Ronaldinho's place in history as one of the most talented players of his generation. Iniesta (Uefalona) Vs Chelsea. 2009. This goal haunts me every time I see it. Great finish but I'm sure plagued the dreams of Chelsea fans for years after. Muller (Bayern) Vs Chelsea. 2012. I thought the game was over, our miracle run had come to a finish. Of course we couldn't win in Munich with such a weakened team, it just wasn't possible. Thank god I was wrong. Apparently mine mostly come in the champions league but I'm sure there are many more goals that have changed games and seasons that you guys will remind me of!
April 8, 20188 yr Not sure about goals against I seem to forget those though do remember from the 90's we were ripped apart by Tony Daley (Villa) and Stewart Ripley (Blackburn) and both times at the Bridge.
April 16, 20188 yr Who was that kid from Everton who tore threw our defence? Came from non league. Just found his name, Jermaine Beckford. Edited April 16, 20188 yr by Floyd25
April 16, 20188 yr Papis Cisse goal, Drogba's reaction and the crazy curve on it. I always felt Cech should have saved it though. Charlie Adams 66 yard goal, mainly because I was stood behind Courtois goal when it went in and the whole crowd had no clue how to react to it. It was like nothing had even happened people were so shocked. Iniesta.... Worst goal conceded that I remember.

Franz Carr of Forest ran riot against in the late 80s. I seem to remember him ending Jon Millar's Chelsea career.

God, I was at that game at The Bridge - September 1986. We got trounced 6-2. Can remember the game starting well but then as you say, Franz Carr had an absolute stormer and tore our defence to shreds. I think Terry Howard played that day as well and didn't see him too many times after that and Tony Godden was in goal.

Like a lot of speed merchants he seemed either fantastic or sh*t, with nothing in between.
April 17, 20188 yr Clive Walker for Sunderland in Milk cup Semi final in 1985, not only came back to haunt us, but scored when fans were near our own penalty area, seats being thrown on pitch, and the mounted MET police conducting there own donkey derby around the old ground hound track! You'd of had to of been there to believe it. Edited April 17, 20188 yr by chi blue Spelling

Although it was a snap shot, Cech definitely had time to sort his feet out and tip it over.

You couldn't even get near the platform due to hundreds of Chelsea looking to ambush West Ham on the way back from Wimbledon ( payback for 200 ICF getting off at FB before the game) A crazy night all round.
