That’s a shame, especially the way he’s being treated on the way out. It’s just odd our club couldn’t have given a tribute or something before he left. Spend 32 years covering the club you love and then just get thrown to the corner. Thanks for all the work you’ve done Neil.

It's surprising he's lasted this long. He's been very critical of the running of the club and it's obviously caught up with him.

Sad to see him go, will be weird to hear a different voice.

While were on the topic do you or anyone else know the guy who announces our goals and substitutions?

Hello, this is the 21st century! It's obviously a computer generated voice  One programmed to ignore goals from our opponents...

I don’t know about others but more often than not he made me cringe .Many off his comments to the opposition supporters in  particular were offensive and uncalled for.

Very very rarely do matchday announcers aim much at the away supporters other than respectful things such as welcome or have a safe journey home so his often churlish comments wouldn’t have gone un noticed

He was cringy as but he’s one of the family. He’s like the unfunny uncle who just won’t stop!

Unless something’s gone on we don’t know about the club should be ashamed of the way they’ve just binned off a loyal servant and fan.

He did his job well otherwise 32 years in chels would not happen..........when even the likes of him are critical how we are run then good on him. Its like we are being run by kids with absolute zero consequence.......so on top of being amateurs, we are now heartless as well. As mentioned, a clusterf**k of a show.

Oh I've had a beer with him. He is on a different level to the posters here...
