January 28, 20197 yr Although we have the toughest matches in Feb, either side of us Utd have PSG and Liverpool so they will also need to think about resting players.

Is it really worth it? Personally I’m glad we’ve avoided them. I’d rather enjoy the matchday than looking over my shoulder.

We are away at Malmo on the Thursday prior to the FA Cup weekend, and then home the Malmo the following Thursday, so logically you would think the Monday night slot would be given to us to accommodate the travel time after the first Thursday night fixture. It will obviously be televised though, and I have a feeling it will get the 4.30pm slot on Sunday for maximum exposure around the world...

BBC usually show their highlight games a bit later than that - will most likely be a 6pm kick-off same as last week if we are one of the BBC matches. We might end up being the BT match or Sky or something

We might end up being the BT match or Sky or something 6pm Sunday, or Monday night would make most logical sense given that we are away in Europe on the Thursday prior, but as others have said, I just get the feeling it will be the 4.30pm slot on the Sunday (which will get the biggest all important global audience).
January 30, 20197 yr Isn't 4.30pm Sky's slot? Still be televised, though it would be nicer on the Beeb.

I think BBC get first pick (which will obviously be this game), so that could be a factor. I am not sure who has what slots and if there is flexibility on that...?

January 30, 20197 yr To be honest, I don't know if Sky do the FA Cup at all. I thought they did, but BT had the 4pm match last Sunday, so now I'm not so sure.
January 30, 20197 yr Yeah I think it might just be BBC & BT Sport. BT Sport with the Sunday 4.30pm game and the Monday night game. So that would mean the 6pm Sunday game is fairly likely. Unless BBC show it at lunch time on Sunday, which I also think is one of their slots? I wouldn't normally care this much but I have plans on Sunday which need moving, but need to know when the game is before I can begin negotiations with the wife!
January 30, 20197 yr Sunday 6pm isn’t bad for the fans regarding travel this time though as all the away fans live in Surrey.
January 30, 20197 yr Personally, would have preferred a home draw against lower league opponents, at this stage.

January 30, 20197 yr United is starting to lose steam under Ole. I think that we will beat them in the FA Cup.
