Understand me better? You have so much understanding of football that you cant see whats outside of your boxed bias. They sell boxed water too these days you know? What value did you place on that usage? Was there a probability that two years down the line the new owner of the car was going to send over some more money ?Did the government allow you to claim the sum that your car was depreciating on an annual basis? What were the VAT implications on both the purchase and sale of your car sale?Using your car analogy..Our owners are buying cars , paying agents a fee on top of the price of the car for helping with the purchase/sale , ¹using the cars or not using them much, and the plan is to then sell those same cars to new owners for more than we bought them for ..

It was widely reported that If he'd called the loan we would have been sunk.RA did over a period turn some “soft loans” into equity but that loan of £1.2 billion could have been called in at any time within a defined time period of notice and that was very much fact say in 20/21 as well as other years both prior and post that time. My point is that had RA not reminded in control then his successor could have called that loan in . We know that didn’t happenI know that most believe that loan has been written off . I am still not sure that’s the case I believe its likely there is an agreement in place that the loan can never be called in and indeed that almost certainly may be the case but the latest filed accounts for Fordstam still reflect the loan. The company structure was so complicated it would take someone far more capable and with greater access to conduct a deep dive into the myriad of companies that traded in different jurisdictions to fully understand what happened. If you track back the CFC liabilities going back to RAs last year and through to the 23/24&24/25 you will see that the numbers have indeed grown post RAs departure you will not see how the numbers were adjusted downward either in year one or two to reflect write off. Anyway, as he has previously said that Chelsea is one of his favourites hobbies,he obviously doesn't have any attachment to our great club .

You would like to put to bed the tradition of the "own goal rule" ?What on earth are you talking about ?Oh I missed this reply. I meant I've always thought "OG Terry" as a goal scorer is stupid and is just a spite type of reward to a player whose probably done everything to stop a goal from happening. And the player that it touched last (from the goal scoring team) gets zero reward to his name who would probably love to add a goal to his tally. So it is basically a lose-lose type of situation.

I was commenting why the example posted was not a valid measure Irrespective as I pointed a week or so ago you can’t use transfer market( something most do) with certainty using their numbers to try and track profit from player trading it’s only the accounts you will get clarity in those you know that all fees related to a players purchase and or sale are reflected and that includes agents and or intermediaries fees.Even then you won’t see a player by player summary.Bit like a car dealer’s accounts you won’t see in their accounts details of every car they sale

I believe our has reduced to below £200m now, but it still counts the same as spending ??It seems some fans are doing transfer calculations and believing that that alone counts in the PSR rules, when in fact ALL spending , including staff etc is all part of our spending?? Or am I hopelessly wrong ?!! Thanks for your informative reply 👍

This i believe is the fabled treasure trove that Cameron has been sitting on for years. Due to likelihood that the funds would never be released by the UK government to him, i thought that RA made the grandiose concession to utilise the funds owed to him for humanitarian aid for the war, and thereby removed the lien against the club.Whether it could ever have, would ever have, sunk us is somewhat moot as the result appears, on the face of it, to have come to a perfect conclusion for the clubs finances as we underwent an unprecedented evolution from the club of the 80's and 90's to what we see today, under Abramovich's tenure and then upon his departure the net result for the new incumbents was a clean slate in bank accounts terms (albeit with apparently some self declared financial skeletons lurking around). Hence why a number of us cannot understand why others on here keep telling us to not hark on about the previous regime by constantly bringing up the previous regime.

This is a bit of a personal view and only feel based but as I watch NHL and after 30 years or so watching they brought one small sponsor to the shirt which is to me sort of a point of enragement. The shirts been sort of holy piece of item that no sponsor is part of. They monetize the sport to last item but they never had sponsors on the shirts which made them look so cool. Just cartoon type iconic shirts that was about the team. The shirts in all and every sport look at their best without a sponsor. That is a fact you can't argue. If you do you are off my good books 😅.In football it has always been a tradition naturally but yet it looks 1000x more cool without some stupid "3" on that shirt.I know we need one and we'll get one but I wished we could muster 60m/season with something else. And all the other clubs as well. One tradition I would love to put in the bed with own goal rule 😅.With this point of enragement di you consider moving your fandom to another club 🤣😛
