October 3, 20205 yr https://www.goal.com/en/news/chelsea-reject-bayern-loan-bid-for-hudson-odoi-that-included-70m-/6osfm9lf2g271r7chb3dpymhn Bayern loan with an option to buy doesn’t mean much. However a loan with a 70 £ million obligation to buy in 2021 would be tough to turn down. Chelsea could sign Partey and Benhrama with that money.
October 3, 20205 yr 70 mil is alot of money, that +30mil-40mil would be enough to get Sancho I believe.
October 4, 20205 yr No. Hudson Odoi has huge potential and could well be one of our best players in a few years time. 70m isn’t worth it.

Regardless of apparent potential CHO has rarely shown anything to support this assertion of his potential which is evident by the fact that he is still yet to cement his first team place. In the middle of a pandemic with an uncertain economic future, a season long loan with an obligation to buy at £70m should be gobbled up in my opinion. But its probably €70m and not £70m and its an option to buy rather than an obligation i think.
October 5, 20205 yr Bayern is one of the best run club in the world when comes to transfer, no way they will pay 70M for CHO. If they pay 70M to buy , we'd accept it and pay his taxi and plane ticket. It's more of a trial before buy with no baggage attached, if CHO becomes a hit, they will work with the agent and player to extend the loan.
October 5, 20205 yr Rather not sell him, this could be his real breakout year. If he hasnt improved by the end of the season then id sell him for 70m, with a buyback though

Yeah the only way Bayern are going to play 70m for him, in euros or pounds, is if he is a first team player for them. He won't be. They wanted a cheap back up option, they thought he would push for a move, and the 70m was insurance if he became a star. I am glad it seems like both the club and CHO have said no.
