I suspect they've made an error as

Abraham (35) Zouma (30) Tomori (25) Guehi (20)  =110m (and those are conservative numbers) and then we sold Zappa, Livramento, Ugno, Bate and Moses (20m total)

So for me, we've got a net spend of minus 30m before you get into loan fees.

I suspect they've taken their data from transfermarkt which categorises some of our sales as Chelsea u23

Last time I looked Transfermarkt didn't have Guehi listed as a sale for Chelsea or purchase for Palace.

But either way you're right. They've got their numbers wrong based on the fees reported by most places for our player sales.

Thats because transfermarkt classify him as a Chelsea U23 player.  Same with Livramento

Obviously the money coming in goes to the same place, but they just record it like that for some reason. Is a bit annoying. City have the same problem.

What then happens is media outlets lazily only look at transfermarkt data without knowing the hidden u23 sales and then sky report that our net spend is less than it is.

Considering we added a Centre Forward who we needed and brought in depth for midfield. This is astounding. Just a pity we couldnt push the Kounde deal through for what could have been a perfect window. Just shows what bringing one player in does, yesterday before the Saul deal we looked a little short but now appear more balanced.

f**k sake we missed out on the net spend trophy.

0/10.

Arsenal fans used to rant a lot about net spend trophy but how the tables have turned

Whatever happened to the Asian fella who used to go on AFTV? The one who infamously went on the "what about net spend" rant.

No clue, probably started his own channel or something

For the most part, we've done well and the net spend figure is incredible.

Signed Lukaku which will put us in title contention and if Saul Niguez can rediscover his form from a few years back, we could have a serious player on our hands.

Disappointed we missed out on Kounde. Think a lot of the focus next summer will be stocking up on defenders particularly if Rudiger moves elsewhere.
