How is now since the injury German/French one?

Honestly I dont know. Maybe he lost after the injury some of his speed. I did not see him since he went to Juventus.

Before the injury I would have said he is a perfect transfer to fix the problems in midfield. But after the injury there is a big question mark.

I would let Chalobah play like Matic under Conte. Just protect the back 4 and intercept and regain possession and then just play simple passes

Bakayoko was supposed to do that but he was only good off the ball and not when we had possession, even if we had it for 35% of the time he couldn't cope with it so we all saw how in practice it went. Matic has a nice left foot, decent technique and offered stability for us, meaning a more valuable player since it will always be more important what you can do with the ball in comparison to making tackles.

Judging by this clip alone, I see no reason why would Juve even consider selling him for less than 60m. He looks like a complete midfielder that can make runs, score and also dominate like Yaya or something like that...

Not sure if he'll be able to do all the forward running in the PL if I'm to be honest but if we were to play a 4-4-2 with RLC and Zakaria in the midfield, on paper we would have everything, the drive, directness, superior height, long legs anything you can think of...

We have a 30 million option on him. Allegri let Dybala and Kulusevski go too so wouldn't pay too much attention.

Based on what I saw at Gladbach, he will be better than many in here expect him to be.

He'll add a bit of physicality and defensive starch in midfield as well, which is what many of us think we need when Kante is injured.

Let's see how he goes. Rice should still be number 1 target next summer this is a low risk deal.

It’s not looking good. Does he at least dribble straight in to the opposition, lose the ball and then fall over?

I think we have a specialist coach for that specific skill

and I’ve seen pulisic been brilliant at that against Southampton
