Still waiting on official announcement on Vivell. Shields and Stewart have not started yet and may not be before the window. At least Todd has Winstanley, Macaulay and Potter in board for that window.

Strange he hasn't been promoted since. He's been with the club since 2002 and his work in the academy completely unrewarded until now.

I think that both of these moves, augur well for the future recruitment at Chelsea 👏

I am confused a bit by all of these appointments though. Does this mean that we're not trying to get that Edwards fella now or are we still after him.

I think the idea is that they are trying to build a team versus one person running the show. At least that's what I read somewhere so Edwards might still come.

He didn't want to leave the Academy is the basic answer, but also the roles he was offered he didn't feel suited to.
