It is going to become a major headache for the clubOr even half the price tag ... If we keep him, and the owners insist that he has to play every game again, then we are basically signing up to fielding another unbalanced team all season with the inevitable consequences. These BlueCo c**ts already have 4 years of data to prove Enzo isn't the answer (if they actually get their heads out of their arses and look at it)
4 hours ago4 hr The problem the club has now is that some players don't want to stick around at a club with yet another season with no CL football, and with different managers coming and going every season. . Not only that, but if those players don't leave, we are left with expensive players who don't want to be here but who will have to play. No f**king good for anyone.

There was that note in our annual reports that they anticipated revenue of £700m+ this year, with player sales contributing £250m. So far they have banked £50m from the Cucurella sale. They need to find £200m+ from somewhere before the window closes. That is why they are inviting offers, but so far only Chalobah & Andrey Santos have suitors.
2 hours ago2 hr @markpitts .is that £250 million the total amount after we sell players and buy players ? Edited 2 hours ago2 hr by The Rising Sun Info

Any note re sales etc again surely would be for the ye 30/6/26. Yes it’s likely that Cucurella would be in the 26 period alongside most of the players that were sold in the summer& winter windows of 25 but from 1/7 any sales would feature in the ye30/6 /27Just had a quick look at the accounts and there is no mention whatsoever re anticipated turnover of £700m or that sales of £250 would be achieved. To be fair something in my memory supports the likely £700m but I think that was just a newspaper article Edited 1 hour ago1 hr by terraloon

I'm sure we will still see links of our sales which will be wildly off the mark which, when we capitulate and sell these players for half of our quoted values, we will again somehow come our with briefings as damage limitationn.
30 minutes ago30 min We will top £250 million in sales this window I reckon. There seems to be concrete interest in a number of our players.Gusto, Delap, Trev, Neto, Santos along with George and Cucu’s fees already should top £250 million fairly easily.I expect at least another 3 to go even if all the above move on too.
28 minutes ago28 min The £700m figure was widely reported across the media, by the likes of Sky, New York Times, The Guardian, Fox Sports, so I imagine there was some official substance to the "source" of that projection. It came out when we announced the huge £262.4m loss for 24/25.
