Really don't see a need for him given Casadei's emergence this past 5-6 months.

Also hasnt veiga just had a big 6 months? Not exactly a massive portfolio to go off. 

If we want yet another young attacker, surely Szoboszlai or Xavi Simons would be better options.

Yes, seems to be fallen into pattern of let's sign the another 20 something sensation out there, although we have no idea where to play him. If we have the money, spend big to get a Caicedo or Rice to partner Enzo, and keep the other midfield spot up for grab for the Gallagher, Casadei, Carney , Hall etc. That's based on the assumption we play 3 in MF, which may not even be the case.

Can see this happening throughout the window actually, like Barcelona last summer. PSG also need to freshen up their squad and reduce the age. After the Ziyech debacle with them in January I could easily see them going up against us for a number of our targets.

Chelsea will hold talks to sign Gabri Veiga from Celta Vigo next week. Apparently.

GV 21, who is also on the radar of Liverpool, Manchester City and Barcelona, has a  €40m (£34.4m) buyout clause in his deal with Celta Vigo.

Disappointing we are still persisting with this one, I genuinely cannot see what he offers over Gallagher or Lewis Hall. 

If we wanted to sign quality young AM from La Liga on the cheap, we should have gone for Mallorca's Lee Kang-In or Osasuna's Abde Ezzalzouli, both made teams punch way above their weight. 

Lee will be a superstar if he gets playing time at PSG, and Abde is one of the best young players on the dribbler - very similar to Hazard in that he uses his strength and body to shield the ball as he runs.
