This new rule about match officials clamping down hard on player dissent and gamesmanship is long overdue, but boy is it gonna cause some issues early on. Expect a big increase in bookings and Red cards.

Hope Pochettino has drilled this into our boys.

in 2025 they plan to implement a new rule where they give yellow cards for tackles on the ball if it might upset the opponent 

and for shouting you also get a yellow card

every form of emotion will be punished

not addressing the referee by sir is also a bookable offence
