I touched upon sock colours recently, but those were the opponents' socks (can't remember who)  And surely Mbappe has at least been discussed in the rumours thread? 

Personally,  I'm mostly staying away from the match threads, as a lot of posts have grown completely over the top, and not in a funny way.

Still, just goes to show you can't swan off like that @Simplymo !

Maybe offering socks as part of the deal would convince him to join?

Someone else had the holes, can't recall if it was the last match or the one before. Up till that point I thought those were his lucky socks or something...hahaha

Somebody on the forum thought the holes reduce tension, as the socks are too tight for his mighty calves.

That's apparently the explanation. They wear a brand new pair of socks every game. Some players, Gallagher isn't the only one, find they are too tight around the calf, too restrictive. Also largely explains why some players prefer to play with socks down.

I've a feeling wherever he ends up it will not go well, he brings a lot of sh*t off the pitch with him, his attitude in the pitch us questionable also when it's not going all his way.

I tend to avoid the football sections here, people take it far too seriously considering it’s a game for children.

My guess would be blue kit with white socks 😝

Do I understand it correctly the sponsorship of Infinite Something ends after one year? Perhaps the club wait to present the new kit when a new shirt sponsor is on board. We may start with a sponsor-free kit again like last season, though. That pristine shirt may have been the best selling one in years! I cherish mine...

Even though they look identical, they are paper thin and so lightweight a person's nails can rip the shirt/shorts/etc. Wouldn't last a month with the public/general wear. It didn't say anything about the socks but I imagine it's a similar story. No wonder more and more holes are appearing during games.

Ditto...I got a sponsor less one that I'm trying to keep as new. I love that clean look.

But no...IA have renewed the contract for another year at least.

I didn't know that! Perhaps the renewal wasn't yet signed when we played our final match, that is traditionally when we play in our new kit, isn't it? Maybe it will be launched on 1 July.
