We should put in a bid of £500k

He cost us around £60 million last time.  He is a tall Striker, might work better with our current players. He is doing a decent job with that Spain team.  On the other hand he has openly stated that he hated being at Chelsea.  :0(

Yeah, it is the silly season. He started quite well for us initially if I remember and then he became. . . .not so good.

Yep. He literally fell to earth. and then kept falling every time someone got near him, every single time.

19m for a 18 year old kid from Aston Villa. Likely doing Villa a favour for Maatsen.

Cant pay Olise a standard wage for a top player though.

Hoping they sell up when their binding agreement is over. You can’t go sacking managers when you don’t give them the tools to succeed especially with how competitive the premier league is.

A side that consists of Maatsen, Trev, Conor, Hutchinson and even Broja is probably going to be an upgrade on what we purchase this summer. They are not selling these players to get better players they are selling them to reinvest in younger players so they can flip them for profit or just have them on low wages if they succeed.

It is crazy.

Villa and us basically "help" each other to clear psr by "trading" academy player.

I don't know why I'm laughing but :face_palm:

Chelsea and Bayern Munich are both showing interest in Barcelona striker Marc Guiu [18] who has a 6m euro (£5.08m) release clause.

Barcelona youth coach Iván Carrasco describes Guiu as a "classic '9', a specialist in the area who exploits his physical power". He has a good high ball game, pace, strength and work-rate. Spanish football expert Guillem Balagué described Guiu as a striker who is known to be "more efficient in the box"

The question is why does this wonder kid. widely considered to be one of Spain's best wonder kids. why does he want to leave Barcelona?  He has made a total of 7 first team appearances. 2 goals.

Not going to play under Maresca if he comes. Same probably goes with Duran. Same profile. Maresca doesn't even need a traditional striker in his system.

He's a Barca academy product, Barca need all the cash they can get.

Cos he's not. Everybody is a wonderkid nowadays and every pass and shot that any player has is brilliant, apparently.

Yup. One of their up and coming La Masia prospects who some say is already ready for the first team and back up to Lewa.

And Lewa's days up top are numbered. The release clause is 5m, last year of his contract next season. Watch Barca do the CP-Olisse trick.

Then its all clickbait by his agent to get him a pay rise at Barcelona.
