He is doing a decent job with that Spain team. On the other hand he has openly stated that he hated being at Chelsea. :0(

June 21, 20242 yr First 9 games or so he was very good, then slight injury, and crap afterwards. The story of so many of our marquee signings.
June 22, 20242 yr 19m for a 18 year old kid from Aston Villa. Likely doing Villa a favour for Maatsen. Cant pay Olise a standard wage for a top player though. Hoping they sell up when their binding agreement is over. You can’t go sacking managers when you don’t give them the tools to succeed especially with how competitive the premier league is. A side that consists of Maatsen, Trev, Conor, Hutchinson and even Broja is probably going to be an upgrade on what we purchase this summer. They are not selling these players to get better players they are selling them to reinvest in younger players so they can flip them for profit or just have them on low wages if they succeed. June 22, 20242 yr Welcome to psr where selling your academy player is better than keeping them 😵💫😵💫😵💫

June 22, 20242 yr Chelsea and Bayern Munich are both showing interest in Barcelona striker Marc Guiu [18] who has a 6m euro (£5.08m) release clause. Barcelona youth coach Iván Carrasco describes Guiu as a "classic '9', a specialist in the area who exploits his physical power". He has a good high ball game, pace, strength and work-rate. Spanish football expert Guillem Balagué described Guiu as a striker who is known to be "more efficient in the box"

He has made a total of 7 first team appearances. 2 goals.

Same profile. Maresca doesn't even need a traditional striker in his system.
