From what I’ve gathered Maresca wants his wingers staying wide so Nkunku (and Palmer) doesn’t fit that profile.
I can only really see Nkunku play as the striker in Marescas system and to me, having Nkunku/Jackson for that spot means that we CAN wait with the striker purchase if the right profile isn’t available this summer

Yeah Nkunku as a touch line winger is an absolute waste. Palmer can play there but it remains to be seen how effective with no overlapping fullback ala Gusto. 

So many questions.

Nini on Blue lions podcast has said Italian media are reporting Arsenal are about to drop their interest in Sesko and go for Oshiman from Napoli.

Napoli want to sell him, they need to they have no CL and he earns 10mill a year, and Napoli are reported to like 2 Arsenal players in a cash plus swap.

 

Apparently our 2 main transfer targets are Sesko and Olise.

Because we have owners that like to come bowling into town with their dicks out for the world to see.

Regardless of the media speculation and the club denials, any sane person can see that if you wade in spending £1bn on players so much so that you end up with players changing in the corridor and you have to knock down a wall in the training ground changing room to fit them all in, then at some point you have no option to become a selling club for a period. Free hitters for FFP are a soft target for hard negotiation for prospective buyers.

Man City always seem to move players on for fairly reasonable fees. We don't know half of what their finances are about but these clowns have been here five minutes and their collective underwear is on view to the world and speculation daily.

Apparently they are. I suggested the other day that, with McGinn, and Luiz, plus bringing in Barkley, they might not need another midfield body. On the other hand, with the extra demands of CL next season, they could be stocking up the midfield cupboard. They seriously ran out of puff in the Conference League this year. Once bitten, etc.

Yeah the Hall deal was basically made official last season when the clause in the loan was met.

 

I thought Sarr was out of contract thus summer?

Sounds like they are. Need more depth with CL this season and Emery likes his players to run.

We seriously need to thin out our attackers behind the 9.

Mudryk, Nkunku, Sterling, Carney, Palmer, Noni, Casedei, Hutchison, possibly Olise and we’ve got Paez and Estevao arriving in 12 months.

There’s probably a few more I’ve forgotten too.

Angelo also. Need to sell 5-6 players in the next 12mths. Can see us selling Hutchinson and 1-2 of Sterling, Casadei & Carney this summer. Murdyk & Noni need to improve massively in the next 12mths or they will both be on chopping block next summer.

Dewsbury Hall is a rumour I’ve seen in a few places now.
