Can play both CB positions, is comfortable at LB and also LW. So could be useful in a variety of formations.

I'll also nail my colours to the mast on this one. I would love us to sign Calafiori. I have never rated Badiashile, he is a mile away from the standard required. I think Colwill has promise but i still think the hype around him is not yet based on much substance and he still needs time to develop. Calafiori, i do really rate, especially with his versatility. I'd love us to sign him......so that's it definitely not happening then!

We can't go just based on the EC games off course. So I hope if there is interest that they followed him for a longer period. 

I heard from a couple of Portugal league watchers that he is a bit overhyped. 

But if we do go with EC goalkeepers. I have been very impressed by the Georgian keeper. 

Mamardashvili or something close to that,  but then I am doing what I just said we shouldn't as I don't watch Laliga football. 😅

Chelsea have made an “important” salary offer to Calafiori apparently.

We would have to sell some of our CBs is my guess. We may have to do that anyways. when you look at these CBs they are not 'amazing'. I mean Disasi we like his attitude and Badiashille can be good. We are still waiting for Levi to reach his potential and Chalobah although versatile is not a 'must' play player.  Fofana did look good at one point, but will he ever play again? Tosin is the new bloke.

It's a valid point you make but when you look at that ensemble it's hardly inspiring is it. You can easily see the need for Calafiori.  At least he'd know he's a nailed on starter.

Would absolutely love this to be true, Calafiori, colwill, fofana, James as first choice back line is very flexible. can make a back 3 with either James or calafiori in possession and the other fullback can invert. If colwill is injured calafiori can play cb and cuccerella can play lb. tosin can be rotated with fofana. Does make me wonder if badiashile is off but I haven’t been impressed with him recently.
