It’s more the Barsa environment. But, it is known that Barcelona wants Nico Williams so, I think that the Real Madrid media (as) reports that we are offering to pay the rescission clause and triple his salary to make Barsa pay over the odds.

Great player, by the way, but I’d like him to stay in Athletic Bilbao at least one more season to grow as a player a bit more. He’d be great in our left wing, better than Mudryck and possibly Sterling, and he’s developed an understanding with Cucurella on Spain’s left side.

Strasbourg have their own season to deal with beyond the Chelsea link. Obviously, if he's any good, it could turn into a plus for Chelsea.

Theo Hernandez about to sign for City for £51m apparently. I don't know why on earth we aren't trying to at least challenge for the signing for that price with our relationship with Milan, arguably the best LB in football at the moment. Sure we could throw Chilwell in to sweeten the deal too and he can spend his weekends at fashion shows with Fik and Rubes.

We would definitely need to shift Chilwell as part of any deal. Doubt Milan would want to pay his over inflated wages though?

The extension in 2023 with his fitness was a strange one, he's as good as they get at LWB but hard to see him getting back to his previous level especially now we're apparently going to be playing possession football

Yes totally agreed. As you say perhaps the cat walks of Milan will pique his interest especially if he thinks he won't be first choice here. Maybe we we can throw in a lifetime supply of Brylcreem as a sweetener.

Shame his brother is made of glass. Better defender than Theo and as good going forward. Theo is a bit of a loose cannon. Interested to see how Pep beats that out of him.

Yeah i think Lucas was rumoured to be retiring early at one point because of the injury issues, just looked and it seems he played 41 times last year. Perhaps come out the other end of it.

Playing in the Saudi league, relative to the PL, is akin to having a season's rest. Class is permanent but whether his hammys and calves would stand up to a PL season is moot.

It could be that 12+ months away from a "proper" league has given him ample recuperation time, if its even a possibility we should absolutely be looking at getting him back, especially after seeing how hes played in the Euros.
