July 9, 20242 yr Any truth in the rumour that we are selling our left winger Ben Chillwell to Man Utd? I mean he would be reunited with his buddy Mason Mount, but don't they already have Chelsea fan Luke Shaw at LB?

Sir Gordon Bennet perhaps? Maresca bought Renato Veiga and we have Cucu. . .So maybe Ben is surplus to requirements? Not sure why Ben is being linked with Man Yoo though. The young Ben did go to Man United games as a kid.

Decent player on his day of course. Man Utd have a poor recent transfer record so not surprised they're linked / interested. If he goes I wish him well.
July 9, 20242 yr I think Malacia and Shaw are far more injury prone than Chilwell. United have Vivell and Berrada now running the footballing aspects so I doubt they will be daft enough to bring in another injury prone LB. Not unless they want to take what is a pretty 'affordable' risk on him.

July 9, 20242 yr Watching the semifinal just now and while it’s clear Kante is still a very good player he doesn’t have the same energy perhaps that he once did. That energy is what really made him stand out when he played for us. I don’t believe he could cut it in the PL now

I don’t believe he could cut it in the PL now Unfortunately, I agree...he's an amazing player and I'll always have a soft spot for him. He will always be "world class" and should have been acknowledged and celebrated more...but his time is up. Leave the man to rest, he deserves it. Saudi is perfect for him. He's a devout Muslim, and been such a humble person compared to most ppl let alone football stars let him enjoy the money and lifestyle out there. Massive properties, luxuries, cars, etc...retire by his private pool in his massive mansion and play a game of relaxed footy every now and then in the Saudi league. *somehow I think he'll still find a way to be humble in Saudi.
July 11, 20242 yr De Ligt to Utd for 50 million Euros it seems. Is he entering the final year of his contract or his form has dipped? Seems cheap as I’d always highly rated him.

July 12, 20242 yr Does anyone know anything about this Zirkzee? Apart from the fact he can’t get a game for the Dutch national team ahead of 2 previous Utd rejects.

I think before he joined the Dutch national side he was the leader of the Persian army that defeated the 300 Spartans.... Quite a career change for the lad. Edited July 12, 20242 yr by dkw
July 12, 20242 yr Desire Doue (LW/RW/AM) who is 19. Rennes winger scored four goals and provided six assists in 42 appearances last season, and he is the latest wonderkid to be targeted by Chelsea. Apparently he is very “moody”. Rennes manager Bruno Génésio described Doué : "He reads the game very well. Technically, right foot and even left foot, he's complete, with good control on both. Away from the pitch he's a dream. Easy, calm, with a streak of leadership whilst still asking for advice. He's both care-free and conscientious in his work. He's already a pro in his head". Doesn’t seem “moody” at all. Sounds like a very nice young man. So far this transfer season Chelsea have signed KDH, Kellyman, Marc Guiu, Tosin Adarabioyo and that other bloke as a LB/pivot type of thing. Oh and that young Argentinian fellah we loaned back to Bocca, because he was already homesick. And we were supposed to get a new goalkeeper?

July 12, 20242 yr I swear RedCafe is like a mental institution. United could sign the worst player in the world and they would still find reasons to make him look like a world beater. Joshua Zirkzee. The guy who used to be in the Bayern squad. Never I'd have thought that lamp post would demand this fee and have anyone excited about him signing for any club. They will soon pay a fortune for De Ligt, too. United seem to never learn. They will have a midget (Martinez) and an injury prone, slow as a tractor De Ligt. Add Ugarte into de mix. A bang average midfielder. United truly are a mess in the market.

Have you not read the sky sports article on him. Apparently he’s in demand!? and they seriously liken him to Zlatan and Ronaldinho! Think I’m probably closer in saying he’s like a young Fellaini.

They go from saying somebody is the best to saying he's sh*t in a matter of days. I still remember when they tried to claim Kagawa was a better player than Hazard.
July 13, 20242 yr Julian Alvarez has rejected a new four year contract at Man City and wants to leave in search of first team Football. I really rate him, Would be a great addition to the team if we can sell that lump Lukaku.
