So explain to me how trev is 4th choice again?!? Jfc Fofana is awful, and Maresca is overrated. These players “should” be skilled enough to beat wrexham without knowing one another prior to playing. Glad we signed that KDH asshole for the manager who isn’t likely to see another season…

This team is going to struggle scoring goals. 

Also, forcing gusto to invert, instead of just letting him play to his strength… this Maresca tactical rigidity is gonna be f**king painful this year 

74 mins in, and I remember 1 shot we have had - i.e, the goal.

Other than that, the players look slow, lack of fight, lack of desire, lack of attacking ideas. 

I know it's first game of pre season, but i expect the players to show some guys and actually have a go....

Yup. Was my biggest worry with him. 

The good thing is. This is happening now. I rather have this so we can still make adjustments. Instead of winning in pre-season with medium football and believe that we are better than we actually are when the competition starts. Which would result in another dramatic season.

Bergstrom not impressing me at all so far .....then as I type he makes a decent save.  Our defence is atrocious this half.

Least we are seeing how utterly useless both Sterling and Chilwell are. Wrexham cooking on that side. 

You learn much more from this than the 1-14 from Bayern. Maresca still has a lot of work and important decisions to make.

Making football look very complicated. Early days - not going to over analyze yet. Nice to see the equalizer.

He looks a little heavier than I recall. Looks understandably rusty as well

And he’s already started making poor ones…

I see zero real leadership on the pitch, he (maybe not his choice) chose Fofana over trev, and that looks horrid. 
 

also, he allowed them to take the pitch in this kit, which is undoubtedly one of the worst ever seen. And before you say not his decision, silence is complicity

Pre season is good in some ways to access individual performance but in general the results mean very little.

The #8s both halves keep recycling it instead of driving it forward. Carney the most guilty. That needs to change.

Yes. Zero underlapping or overlapping to support the wingers when the ball did get wide. Ball was either recycled backwards or a player miscontrolled it 90% of the time.

Agreed, With gusto on, I thought they'd invert the other side and let him overlap. One of his best strengths, his speed!
