Chelsea v Wrexham, (pre-season), Thurs 25th July 24, 03:00 GMT

Featured Replies

Looking forward to pre season after an underwhelming Euros. Just hoping for 2 things - that the American pitches don't cause any long term injuries and everything with Enzo gets sorted out and doesn't escalate into world war 3.

Will be really interesting to see how the players adapt to Maresca's style and be great to see him bring out the best in the likes of Mykky Mudryk and the rest.

Is that a big job? (Not the gmt) That tells you all you need to know about my nerd knowledge. Lol

I don't mind putting dates up and you working your magic or teaching me how to add the calendar fixture, couldn’t find a way to do it just now. I didn't want to mess around too much, you'll have a dozen threads saying test (pls delete me) lol

Or I can just fain injury and beg @axman2526 to do it. hahaha.

Easy enough, open Events at the top, click on the fixture you want, copy the URL at the top of that page in that fixture, and then paste the URL at the top of the post! It then puts in the fixture details, like what you see on the first post in this thread now!

@axman2526 also if you wanted to know that deal!

Can do it easier on desktop version or mobile/tablet, but won't be able to copy the URL if using the app!

Think in the states all the matches will be on ESPN+

Correct, the Wexham match is also on the main ESPN cable channel.

😘 I think that worked. Woohoo.

Lol

I'm going tomorrow to represent this Forum it seems😅 . Not expecting any insights into Maresca's tactics, selections or intentions more just to see Chelsea as haven't seen them in the flesh since Real Madrid at home in CL. Will be over for Boxing Day's vs Fulham hopefully.  The pitches over here are notoriously crap as one saw in the Copa. Using NFL/ College  stadiums by covering the fake grass with turf is a recipe for injuries - last year Nkunku was the main touring casualty , you can bet your bottom dollar its on the cards again. Should be a good day out and a bloody hot one at that.

One of the beeb reporters suggested Nkunku as a number 8. Interesting.

And Mudryk may flourish under maresca.

🤞

Alarm set for 3am, hopefully I will remember why it's going off instead of switching it off and going back to sleep.

Lol

Lineup:

Sanchez

James Tosin Badiashile Colwill

Carney Lavia Nkunku

Madueke Guiu George

James inverting then.

Is Sterling not in the squad? Probably just left for the second half.

yes, he will likely end up next to lavia most of the time.

It's half of an experimental team.

Probably to have 2 strong halfs and also to keep the players still a bit guessing.
