This isn't sustainable for Liverpool. Been watching them a lot this season and they have been incredibly fortunate with some results masking over awful performances. A lot of their experienced heads have been bailing them out. In all honesty a better reflection would them being only a couple points ahead of City.

This reminds me of a Conte esq season from them. They'll pick up the wins but the following season is where the true test begins.

Could well be.

Am sure they will be happy enough dealing with that after picking up this seasons title though.

8 clear, can go 11 clear next week by beating City at home.

My thoughts too, I’ve not been that impressed TBH.

The next month will tell us a bit more about them and they’ll have some tough away matches in the 2nd half as well.

If they still  have a big lead at the top of the table on New Years Day then I’ll start to believe they might go all the way.

Ahem, 9 clear - after we beat Villa and overtake Man City to go second.

Loving the tactical insight provided in the buildup to the Man Utd game - "well he plays a back three..."

At the moment they are filling the void.  If you look at the top 3.  Citeh have collapsed and Arsenal have stumbled.  Liverpool are top by default.  Southampton were unlucky today - they deserved a draw - and Liverpool will always concede goals.

Leicester sack Steve Cooper!

TBF the fact he thought they lost to us yesterday because of the referee probably made the board think he’s too deluded to stay in the job.

The way that Leicester played was tiresome and negative.  Not impressed.  I wonder who they have in mind for the job?  Frank Lampard is always looking for a job.

Maybe Leicester can take KDH on loan for the rest of the season?

Come on the Tractor Boys!  I hope Ipswich manage to stay up. I like their manager and the way that play. I also feel that there are too many London teams in the top flight and it is better when the game is more regional.

Fulham, Brentford and Palace can all get relegated as far as I am concerned. Oh and relegate West Ham as a bonus.

Think we will beat Villa eh? They are struggling of late, so is our attack though.

Though fair point, will be 9 clear when Arsenal beat whoever they play.

Our Graham is still available ... 🙂

Y'know I have already forgotten about him.  I was never a fan.  I think he might have been our worst manager ever.  The way we played under him was tiresome and . . .to be fair we had a bloated squad and many players who didn't want to be here and who should not have been here, but still he was an awful manager.  We never looked like we would ever score with Potter-Ball.

Leicester were in talks with him, were expected to appointment him, then suddenly it dropped and Cooper came in.

It’s one of those weekends I think.

Out of the 3 promoted teams 2 clearly have stage fright and playing Man Utd and Liverpool is too much for them, and the other was really poor and have just sacked their manager.

Agreed.

Add to thar Forest not turning up at Arsenal and Spurs thumping of City.

Are the Man Utd players actually performing now that they have a nice shiny new manager?

Apart from the goal they have not been that good. Ipswich been better team.

It is weird how lowkey, Dibling's time was at us. When he went viral for scoring those hattrick of identical goals for Southampton in that academy or U21 game, I did not even know we had bought him shortly after, only for it not to work out and him end back at Southampton. He is such a real talent and only 18. I am not sure what happened at us, but obviously did not settle. Has a similar style of play to Palmer. He was fantastic today. A shame we did not keep him for longer as we defo could have got money from him or kept him on the books. He defo has ability to make it at the top.
