I’m not sure who said it, maybe @Sexyfootball?, that we were in for winning the league this season. The way Man City are crumbling, this season is one for the underdogs to get it, so who knows. It’s all down to how many goals Sanchez gives away and how other teams like Arsenal fare (hopefully they crumble as well). But, I don’t think this season is a given that City will win the PL.

Liverpool are going to walk it. Win tomorrow and they are 9 points ahead of us.

Yeah what Scott said, and Liverpool are no underdog.

Especially after the whole Coote thing they are a banker for the league and favorable ref calls as a mark of "justice".

Next week Liverpool v City,  Liverpool could end Citys title hopes

They will, this City side is broken and Pool will show them no mercy.

Wow Spurs thrash City, Arsenal thrash forest, and we end up scrapping a win when qe should have won by 4 or 5.

Frustrating.

All teams got same amount of points today. Doesn’t matter how we did it.

One weekend we’ll smash someone and other team will scrape a narrow win. Just how it is.

The irony is that Pep signed a new contract when city are on some of their worst form in years. I remember someone saying some time ago that managers have an expiration date in football no matter how good they are and Pep with City might be reaching that turning point. Honestly should have left before he tarnished his legacy.

Yep, I think Liverpool will win the title this season quite easily, even if they lose tmrw.

For some historical context:

That was City's biggest loss in any competition (home or away) since January 2017 when Everton beat them 4-0 at Goodison Park.

This was also City's biggest home PL defeat since February 2003 when Arsenal beat them 5-1 at Maine Road.

It is not really the manager though. City's sign of downfall has been coming in recent years.

It is very expensive to keep a winning team and more importantly you can tell the 🤑🤑🤑 is drying up.

Their signing in recent years has been un-city like
