Lavia, Neto & Jackson are the only ones I'd rest.

That sure he is going to talk himself in to a yellow eh?

I wi also ask, if we are not going to use Marc Guiu, who is better suited to play as out striker after Nico, Nkunku or Felix?

Maresca needs a forward that presses. Felix seems to be getting that, Nkunku not so much.

Maybe Nkunku behind Felix is better than the other way around.

I'm 98% sure Jackson will get a yellow card at Spurs (given its Taylor and he gave 9 yellow cards last time out) and I'd rather Jackson miss Brentford at home than Spurs away. No need to take the risk tonight as Nkunku can get the job done.

Guiu is just too raw.

Let's hope the traditional December dip in form is a thing from the past...

""Tuchel has been asked to consider a suggestion that dips in form and results in the middle of winter is a recurring Chelsea theme in recent years.‘"

Marc Guiu has missed too many easy chances when we have played him.

It's a shame because he could have got a lot more playing time

HIs overall game looks that of what you'd expect of an 18 year old.

Felix might make the space Nkunku needs. Someone recently posted Nkunku has done best in his career as the right sided attacker. Neto we agree should be left out.

So we could, if Jackson is rested, go with:

Nkunku

Palmer

Sancho

Felix.

It's the sort of game that is all too familiar to me ...an expected easy win that turns out to be an awful defeat .

I'm dreading it tbh !

I'm glad Maresca pointed out how difficult this game is at his press conference yesterday.

Come on you BLUES!

Don’t think that will happen tonight. Brentford has been a difficult fixture for us over the last few years so it might be against them where we drop points .

Even if we beat Spurs and Saints I fully expect a defeat or a couple of draws on our “easy” run of games before we play City away. If we do win them all until then we’ll be at worst 2nd in the table with top 4 almost guaranteed.

So the line up is likely meaning Gusto as the 10 again...

Jorgensen

Disasi

Tosin

Cucurella

Caciedo

Enzo

Madueke

Gusto

Palmer

Felix

Nkunku

Enzo

Madueke

Nkunku

Palmer

Cucurella

Felix
