Everything I have seen of Iraola's Bournemouth is everything I want at Chelsea. They play so quick and the movement is brilliant.

Iraola want to play all out pressing football.

Will the sd sign player to support that idea or sign player based on their financial model?

Naivety all round tonight from the debutant coach to another 5 on the pitch

Got lucky to be in the comp some might say, so why not enjoy the occasions with the music etc and club can blood some young talented players at least under the lights

Was an entertaining game but ultimately BM outclassed and gusto handed arry his double, scored a ton of goals already truly Uber Alles

Lot games to go before we’re out of KO contention no shame losing to BM away

Pretty much it ‘ in a nutshell’.

I’m mostly disappointed with Joao Pedro and Enzo tonight.

Enzo was f*cking dogsh*t, Joao Pedro didn’t really offer anything. A few times he did a nice dribble with the ball, but then he’ll pass it to a defender, killing any momentum we had in attack.

I’m also frustrated about Maresca not using Santos enough, he showed tonight he’s more than good enough to be a starter for us. It’s time for him to be starting games.

Estevao should have played more than 10 minutes. One of our most exciting attackers and yet Maresca thinks it’s a better idea to give Garnacho the nod, Jesus help me.

Pretty much what I was going to say, although I would also add Neto to that who had his worst performance in ages and even Caicedo struggled, although that's excusable when he has Enzo next to him.

Most frustrating thing was the game was crying out for subs second half but Maresca just sat there and must have seen something no-one else could see to think it was okay to leave the same 11 on the pitch. The BM third goal was inevitable and changes were made far too late. If we had put Santos and Estevao on earlier, BM would not have had such a comfortable second half, where at times it looked like they were treating the game as a training match.

Our defence looks worrying - good teams will exploit the gaps. But Enzo. Where do I start? Second half we might as well have played with 10 men - I didn't notice him contribute anything, other than mis-place passes and have that run with Harry Kane (two slowest players on the pitch!). Santos hAS to start as he showed more when he came on than Enzo has offered all season and he was also help take pressure off Caicedo.

But no doubt Maresca will stick with his start pupil for the United game. We cannot afford to lose that one so it's on him if he picks the wrong side again and we don't win.

No shame in losing to Bayern on their own midden, it’s a tough place to go as their record against English sides proves. The Champions League is the pinnacle for a player today, playing the occasion is just as important as the match. Mistakes at this level often get punished and this was our failing last night, naive. Our game plan of exploiting their left side bore fruit but should have borne so much more with a little care. Having got ourselves back in the match and weathered any early second half threat, I wonder if the coach could have been a little more proactive with substitutions before the Gusto error.Ultimately the match drifted and could have got ugly, our fate in the competition though doesn’t rest on a hard first match but on the seven remaining, will we learn from our mistakes tonight?

Was watching the game on local TV and comentator in my country said "We're watching some brilliant football match here".

I dissagreed. How was this brilliant? Our long balls almost never landed, Bayern didn't show much apart from last 30 minutes when we looked like we've run out of breath....and I was then wondering, is this just the state of football these days? Because I remember much, much better football games with better passes, more dribbling, tons of shots on target, brilliant saves from the keeper etc. Is it just me, or..?

Nevertheless, we were just not up for the occasion yesterday, those are the games that show the real picture of where we are "football wise". And I wouldn't say that this is even that good of a Bayern side!

It seems like we set our stool out no matter the opposition.

In tough away games you can’t carry Enzo.

It’s only a matter of time before the board cashes in on some ‘assets’.

I wouldn’t lose any sleep if we get good money for Enzo. You can’t keep saying ‘yeah but he tries’. He runs his socks off sure, unfortunately he’s mostly chasing shadows.

It’s the state of football. I watched on Fubo in Canada and at half-time I’m thinking “that was sh*te” immediately before the commentator said “what a great first half”. Despite it being almost the same Chelsea team that beat PSG it looked like 70% effort instead of that 110% and you probably remember when players tried 100% every game. Madueke was a perfect example of a player not giving his best effort every game.

He's starting Fernandez and Caicado in almost every game. . Even straight after either of them have played games in South America .

Caicado started against Brentford days after flying back from Ecuador. . I just pray he doesn't get an injury.

There was a cracking 4-4 game last night , can't recall the teams. Unfortunately our team are under strict orders from Maresca to not get themselves involved any exciting, back and forth, enjoyable to watch games .
