What a sh*t couple of days with Spurs Arsenal and Liverpool all winning ..

All i'm haring is how it is virtually impossible to not qualify through this league phase. Watch this fkign moron take us to the wire.

I am still yet to see a successful performance and result from Maresca when he plays his fking abysmal style of football, The only two highlights of his time here, being the Conference league final and the CWC final, he ended up playing a totally transitional game, against his woeful fking principles. I still do not rate this bloke at all.

I’m mostly disappointed with Joao Pedro and Enzo tonight.

Enzo was f*cking dogsh*t, Joao Pedro didn’t really offer anything. A few times he did a nice dribble with the ball, but then he’ll pass it to a defender, killing any momentum we had in attack.

I’m also frustrated about Maresca not using Santos enough, he showed tonight he’s more than good enough to be a starter for us. It’s time for him to be starting games.

Estevao should have played more than 10 minutes. One of our most exciting attackers and yet Maresca thinks it’s a better idea to give Garnacho the nod, Jesus help me.

Poor team selection.. but we paid 100 mol to see garnacho and gittens .. Gwen everyone could see our CBs are squad players at best..

great internal solutions .. kudos to the directors.

Gusto is so bad. He slips under the radar with so many others getting more criticism, but he really can't do anything.

He's been on my radar for a while about how bad he is.

The real problem is Maresca prefers him to Reece James, he literally plays our club capatin out of position if he does pick him.

I'm convinced if another team offered decent money ror Reece James Maresca would tell the board to sell.

Message to COCO THE CLOWN

Do us all a favour unless you are going to play players in their proper positions RESIGN

James is the best RB at the club, he is Englands RB WHY dont you play him there?

Gusto is not good enough, Josh is better and should be second choice

Stop picking Enzo he has been crap in 4 games this season already, Santos deserves his chance

Pedro showed again he is NOT a striker, where was he when Estavao played a great ball across the goal, just like Saturday when Neto squared a great ball across the six yard box he was way behind the play

As much as I think he was criticised too harshly last season, we limped over the line for top 4 and were fortunate that Newcastle, Aston Villa and Notts Forest decided to sh*t the bed by dropping points. If we would have been outside top four this season then I'm not sure how things would be looking.

Who Charity FC? Amorins licking his lips.

We haven't won at Utd in something like 12 matches, why are we expecting different now? I think we can all see which way that game is going. Dropped points again.

I have to admit WW I really cannot stand him. He has an air of arrogance IMO and often comes across as smug to me. I feel he thinks he is too clever to be questioned. Like Sarri he is trying to implement a slow paced, ball retention system in the EPL, and like Sarri with Hazard, he is getting bailed out by a generational, if not World class talent in Palmer.

I accept Maresca brought himself some time with the finish to the season and the Conference League win, (despite it being a distinctly 3rd rate competition), and the CWC win, although there can be no ignoring the luck we had in the draw in the run to the final. But that performance against PSG was totally alien to his normal tactics and already looks like a "one-off". And now we are right back to what we usually saw from him last season. And, on the whole IMO, our squad depth has been improved. I've said before, many EPL managers would love to have our squad, and several of them would do a lot better with it than Maresca.

Enzo Fernandez being ‘untouchable’ at Chelsea is the most infuriating thing, it feels like he could do anything and start football matches.

Maresca has just said "Malo played well" in his post-match interview.

I thought we would get a bit further into the season before the bullsh*tting started.

Bloke is a bullsh*t artist.

I think that might mean hes gonna continue to play him, probably more so when James' injuries recur.

I also think that unused Fofana & Gittens are not going to feature much in important games Marescas confidence is waning.

Maresca’s master strategy was to play both Gusto and James tonight (which is daft IMO) so they’re both left out against Brentford where he starts an unfit Fofana at right back and juggles around the team to rest players for tonight. Fine I guess if we weren’t so easily beaten by a modest Bayern side.

Outcome from all this shenanigans: one point in the league and nil points in Europe. What was the point? To make the Brentford manager and Vincent Kompany look like tactical geniuses? Five games into the season and I’m really not looking forward to what’s in store.

Maresca has said post match that he thought our performance was very good....

Cole Palmer also said we deserved more from the game. ...

well I mean he did...

Naivety all round tonight from the debutant coach to another 5 on the pitch

Got lucky to be in the comp some might say, so why not enjoy the occasions with the music etc and club can blood some young talented players at least under the lights

Was an entertaining game but ultimately BM outclassed and gusto handed arry his double, scored a ton of goals already truly Uber Alles

Lot games to go before we’re out of KO contention no shame losing to BM away

Fair review and comments mate.

Naive really is a good word to describe it. Also all the goals we let in were too.

Switched off, first to allow that room for the drop ball, then for Olise to do us on the left, then for on trev for the own goal.

Caicedo for forgettimg who he was playing against. Kane is the master of drawing pens like that.

Gusto for driving a ball in to our box in a panic. All naive.

Am wondering what @nonotnowjim reaction would be if Nico comes on and scores.

Clearly those words of wisdom max erbel was talking about are working well for Bayern.

What would your reaction be?

Not something I was ever worried about. I am so happy that he has gone from our club. He is a stain on the history of Chelsea - and It feels amazing that he is not here anymore. I consider I won just because of that very fact, and so there feels no need to worry about insignificant things like that.

Good time Bayern using him in the only way that makes sense. As a late sub to waste time.
