Great result, every player put in a shift .I predicted a 3-1 Chelsea win more in hope than expectation

Moving the ball quickly, what a joy !!

f**king around at the back nearly cost us early on , but we got away with it.

Gotta say though, nothing like the battles we used to have with those past Barca sides, it was easy last night, nevertheless this result and a goal for the ages has to be enjoyed and celebrated . Must give a shout out to the ref too, let the game flow by not falling for Barca's early histrionics.

We've turned the corner... AGAIN!

Come on you BLUES !!

Very good performance. But we've seen this before in 1-off games, like against PSG, and we all hoped we'd see more of it, only to revert to type as soon as the league started. So, I will not get carried away. The team still needs to find out a way to break down low blocks, which will be the majority of what we play against throughout the season.

Imagine what these fantastic young players would be like with a decent manager. . .

We've seen it before against teams playing a high defensive line and whose idea of defence is attack. The PSG scenario. In reality, they're not hard to play against. A matter of exploiting the vulnerability. Which we have done. Brilliantly. Twice now. Playing against a low block is an altogether different challenge. Play the same tactics, get killed on the counter. Arsenal will need a plan B.

That's the thing, we have seen that Maresca CAN be decent, he just has a really stubborn part to his coaching that holds himself and us back.

Is that he is decent or is it that he gets lucky? I mean we do have a lot of exceptional players (despite all our grumblings around here) and maybe the players shine despite the management style sometimes? His rigid and stubborn way is annoying - let these players off the leash sometimes.

This.

Never understood the argument if Maresca needs to do this all the time.

We simply don’t face these teams all the time.
