LR was the best available option of who we’d realistically target.

Is he a title winning manager? No, but we aren’t a title winning team.

For as long as BlueCo are here we aren’t ‘a force’ so we aren’t going to target the big names, the big names aren’t going to buy into our project and it’s very obvious our project isn’t going to change.

Iraola at Bournemouth? Potentially but look how we avoided De Zerbi because the SD’s are scared of anyone with a personality.

He’s better than Maresca (Who had been sacked by Parma if we’re beating people with that stick), better than Potter, not as good as Poch or Tuchel. It’s that simple.

That doesn't mean that us, as fans, should stop asking for better, whether be it players or coach. It's the only way to change things, put pressure of what our expectations are as 'clients'. Or, are we lowering our expectations and being drawn to the mud level the board wants this club to be? You complain about Gittens a lot but, following your logic, who do you expect us to get realistically? You shouldn't complain because that's where the club is at now.

If we're mentioning that can we mention how he beat PSG too? Overachieving is now a bad thing apparently.

Can we also mention how Maresca beat PSG in a final?

I don’t know about anyone else but if I catch someone sh*tting on my lawn I don’t politely wait for them to finish before I shout stop.

There are 3 types of Chelsea fan at the moment, 1 wants to grab a fork a chase them out the garden, 1 wants to bollock them and point the dirty bastards in the direction of a toilet, while the other is standing watching with a toilet roll in one hand and a doggie bag in the other.

Mention whatever you want. But when the heat was on he bottled it.
Finishing 7th with Strasbourg after all those investments was hardly an achievement. Champions League would have been, but he bottled it.

He got them European football, how is that bottling it?

but here you are shouting at the bloke cleaning the sh*t up saying he isn't doing a good enough job. Direct your anger in the correct way. Blame the owners, back the manager until he gives you reason not to.

Took Hull from 19th, to 7th in two seasons. Finished 21st the year after. P74 W27 D27 L20 (IN CHAMPIONSHIP)

Took Strasbourg from 13th to 7th and into the conference league, only just missing out on CL. P50 W23 D11 L16 (ALL LIGUE 1 GAMES)

Did brilliantly with Derby.

DID HE ? P9 W4 D2 L3 (IN LEAGUE 1)

Because Champions League and Conference League isn't the same.

He couldn't even clinch the middle option. Straight from CL places to the rabble tournement.

Do you laugh at Forest for not reaching CL?

7th in the Premiership with Forest is a far greater achievement than somehow finishing 7th in Ligue 1.
Should have hired Nuno really. At least he's not 99% optics like Rosenior.

For that same reason, and from what he himself said after the West Ham game, only when he decided to ditch his tactics and let the players play by themselves we won.

99% optics? What does that even mean?

Both achievements are the same, yet only one you laugh at due to preconceived bias.

Like Forest then.

Unfortunately, we’re too ‘International’ a fan base to exact any change.

If every match going fan, voted with their feet then they’d be replaced by a tourist and the board wouldn’t notice.

This lot aren’t even in a sweat to get a FOS which is worth so much more than match tickets/merchandise.

We had our chance to save the club when it was being stolen from Sir Roman, everybody stayed deathly quiet for fear of being labelled an ‘ism’. There is absolutely nothing to gain voicing frustrations now at an essentially faceless hedge fund who have us 100% in their grasps. Were an ‘asset’ in their eyes not a club.

As much as I despise them, the scousers would never have allowed themselves to end up in our situation.

Our best hope is the Cole Palmers/Estevao’s of the world. That one of these undervalued prospects we sign actually turns into something.

Gittens cost £50,000,000 which is an awful lot of money for someone with the ability of a League 1 player.

Press conference 1.30pm.

my bingo card consists of:

| Outstanding | Trust | My job is | I | Hull | Genius | any david brent type response | weve got another game in a few days | Ive only been here x weeks |

@Caps_Lock_King this is where people struggle when they have no idea of circumstances of other teams and leagues are and confined within a Chelsea bubble.

YEH ALRIGHT, HE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH...LETS SEE IF HE WINS ANYTHING THIS SEASON OR IF HE GETS IN EUROPEAN PLACES

My issue is with people writing off the manager because of their issue with the owners. LR has done a good job to date and should be given a fair run of it until he has us with multiple back to back losses.

This is exactly where I am. I honestly can’t believe people still think a top manager would accept this job with how the club is run currently.

There’s a reason Enrique ruled himself out and our last 2 managers have quit.

The board is the problem at this football club.

We are where we are unfortunately but I’m not gonna jump all over Rosenior just because I’m unhappy at the board.

He’s done fine so far and I actually prefer him to Maresca.

We ain’t getting a Klopp, Pep or a Mourinho type manager anytime soon unless the board change their whole outlook on how this football club is run.

Until then I’ll get behind the manager until he gives me a reason not to.

Do you think any manager wins anything with us this season taking over mid season? Be real.

I do support the team while I’m at matches it’s while doing this I have watched the slow decline of the club which is a direct result of downgrade after downgrade in terms of personnel in all departments. This appointment is just another.

We can choose to ignore it, smile and tell ourselves it’s all ok or we can be honest and say if we don’t change our strategy we can kiss goodbye to major honours.

This appointment is the biggest upgrade we’ve had in 4 years in the role.
