Might be another chance for Callum
January 5Jan 5 All this back 3 stuff worries me. When we first tried it under Conte, it was kind of revolutionary and got the best out of our squad. Nowadays managers are using it because that's all they know and hope that it works.

January 6Jan 6 I can see a lot of rotation for this game now. They'll want to save a strong team for Charlton so that Rosenior starts his tenure with a win LOL
January 6Jan 6 We should beat Fulham but they’re playing well and Silva is a better, more experienced coach than Rosenior, so I don’t see an easy game.

January 6Jan 6 Enzo, for me, is very much a #8, and like many #8s historically (Lamps comes to mind), he scores by making forward runs from deeper areas. That’s how he managed to tie the game against City and why he was largely unmarked.Higher up the pitch, he’d be asked to pin defenders, take heavy passes, and control long balls with his back to goal. He has neither the build nor the skill set for that job. Palmer, for example, does that well.

January 7Jan 7 I’m actually looking forward to this game under McFarlane. If Maresca was still here, I’d be dreading it. We need to get 3 points, i would like to see Delap get a start here.
January 7Jan 7 I thought Santos and Hato looked decent last time out hope we see them get some minutes tonight. Shame about Fofana he has looked very assured recently, we need him on the pitch more often. Edited January 7Jan 7 by OTL

January 7Jan 7 I know Rosenior doesn't officially take charge of a game until Charlton on Saturday, but I'm nevertheless wondering if he has been allowed any input into tonight's line up ?e.g. " I'd like to see player X in position Y "Just trying to think through how to apportion appropriate blame if we drop points LOLI think I'm good with "Maresca's fault" in this scenario ... and obviously nothing to do with him if we win !
