loz Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 It was a massacre - now choose your man of the match.
Nibs Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I voted early as I've got to go and cut the grass in a minute! Great performance by ALL today - can't fault anyone. Went for Kalou as I'm often critical of him so thought he deserved it today.
coco Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Kalouuuuuuu ! His feet are quicker than Ronaldo's, he is scoring goals, he sets up loads, probably the best player prospect wise at the club.
Dubzz 6 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Definately Kalou, head and shoulders above the rest, scored two good goals, and put a great ball in for lampsy's header ;)
Lofty Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Got to go with the flow on this one - Kalou all the way.
sweet waffle Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Kalou all the way, two goals and an assist and looked threatening throughout, lets hope he can keep it up.
DimaCFC Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Voted for Kalou. He is really stepping up this season!
The Brit Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 just to be different i went for belletti...top pro for us at the moment and played a big role in this win too...and that goal...what a beauty
loz Posted October 18, 2008 Author Posted October 18, 2008 I thought the movement of Mikel, Lampard, Kalou and Belletti was exceptional throughout and ultimately plumped for Kalou as I think that was his best ever performance in a Chelsea shirt.
gustyheadhunter Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 SUPER FRANK again for me absolutely inspired performance today. 7 first team out at one of the hardest away fixtures in the league and comin away with a 5 nil win.... priceless. we look like champions
just Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Belletti for me also. And by some margin. Kalou played well but had two big slices of good fortune for his goals.
Bridgeboy Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Kalou for me, he showed pace and could spacial awareness, 2 goals and one beautiful chip for lamps meant man of the match for me, one of the best performances from Solomen in a blue shirt ! Is anyone else finding it increasingly hard to choose man of the match ? I mean every single f'ing player of ours plays so dam WELL !!!!!!!! Which is a good thing of course :D hahahaha the scum are 1-0 down at the emirates hahahaha muppets !
TheWestwayWonder Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 I dont BELIEVE i overslept for this game. :( But with a result like that, who cares. TOP OF THE LEAGUE :D
kalpitv Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Was a total team effort, but Kalou edged the others for me with his two goals and one assist. But I must admit, Malouda and Lampard were equally good. Also, I am left wondering what is Belletti's foot made of?

Ruh Buh Juh Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Went for Malouda as it was his best performance in a Chelsea shirt ever! Boro couldn't handle him at all and he deserved his goal, albeit the easiest one he'll ever score... Top of the league!!! :D
Mr Chelsea Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 i'm going for malouda i've been his biggest critic for a long time, he's proving myself and many others wrong about him he's looking more and more like a top notch footballer every time he puts on a chelsea shirt kalou was also outstanding and belletti seems to fit in where ever he plays and it was some goal he scored
aliboy66 Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Kalou for me but what a goal by belliti get in there :D
geezer Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Too many players to choose from so I'm opting for the away support which was phenomenal today right from the off. Never heard the home lot at all.
Lofty Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Hello and a big warm welcome to Scott Sinclair's mum.
jack h Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 Kalou for me though it was tempting to give it to Belletti
just Posted October 18, 2008 Posted October 18, 2008 i'm going for maloudai've been his biggest critic for a long time, he's proving myself and many others wrong about him he's looking more and more like a top notch footballer every time he puts on a chelsea shirt He wasn't MOTM. I'm one of those who needs to be proved wrong. And I'll happily admit, over receent weeks, he has started to prove a point and look less like a bumbling clown and more like a bloke who should perhaps get paid to kick a ball about professionally. However. It is only a short while ago he was getting the shepherd's hook at half-time against Man U for being the worst player on the pitch by a frigging country mile. He went off, Drogba came on and suddenly we had 11 proper players and United were in a game. It's all very well looking top dollar against the likes of 'boro and Bordeaux but he has some work to do to show he can reproduce that against the Man U's and Barcelona's of this world. It's a big game for everyone next Sunday but IMO it's bloody massive game for Mr Malouda. Let's not go overboard. Let's wait a bit and see if he's up to it against Dignity Carragher and Co.
