I'm stuck in Singapore & although I have a Russian visa and access to flights and probably tickets via my companies Moscow office, i just can't get the time away from home. I haven't seen Chelsea play live since i moved here in 2004, so i've missed many our our greatest recent achievements and I had promised myself, after watching us win the league for the first time in 50 years, when i didn't get to a single match that season for the first time in 20 years, if we ever made a CL final, i would be there, no matter what & now i am more gutted about missing this game than any other. The main reason I can't travel is that my wife is due to give birth to our second child around 15-20th May. Yesterday my wife asked me if I would really go to Moscow, if her sister would come to Singapore from England & take care of my wife and the new baby for a few days (i offered her sis a free ticket on my airmiles) but, i wouldn't leave unless the baby has be born & they are healthy and back home. so... 'I dont think i can go to Moscow'

They are a small club and need someone to hate, it gives them a feeling they are important, they just replaced Ince with Lamps to keep the fueding going with a current player. As said already, they hated Lamps when he played for them & it's Chelsea that made him the player he is now but, when did common sense ever matter to a hamster... They'll never get over Lamps unless someone else replaces him

Ballack close second would be Anelka. Malouda & Ashley where made to look very ordinary. Maka, everyone's allowed an off day but, thats got to be his worse display I've seen.

I would vote Bridge every time I don't feel Cashley gives us anything more than Bridge offers, although it's good having the pair to keep the squad strength in times when one's missing. That said, I have no time for Cashley & if left tomorrow, I wouldn't shed a tear...

I just read that Keegan is returning to Newcastle & the first thing that i thought of was Howard Kendall's ill fated return to Everton. Unlike Kendall, Keegan wasn't up to the job previously, i doubt this will last 12 months.

If it's a choice of one, for me Anelka's the right one for right now! he will inject some much needed pace upfront & i think he'll do a job for us. I'd like to see a double swoop for Berbatov & Anelka, since we'll likely be replacing Drogs & Sheva in the close season.

I saw that Copple was quoted as saying he's "taken Reading as far as they can go" He's probably the kind of choice the FA will make, for all the wrong reasons...

That well known beacon of press freedom [bBC] is reporting that Capello is interested. Personally I dont see JM taking the job (although i am sure the FA are about to make him an Ericsson of an offer) & i think Capello has the credentials & track record to do a job for us. Maybe appoint Shearer in some capacity to work along side?

Question: How can the FA regain a glimmer of credibility? Answer: Watch England qualify on Wednesday and still sack McLaren! Would take real balls to do that, something the FA isn't good at. Hiddink will be looking for a job

Whatever Jose is given as a pay off, he earned it & he deserves it. I'd be happy if he takes Roman to the cleaners for his severance package, what ever it is, it wont make much of a dent in Roman's warchest and i doubt he'll be down too his last bottle of champagne anytime soon!

First post on a great board, lurked for a couple of days since finding the board after the news first broke. IMHO.. The timing of Jose departure is a total farce, this season will be a total f**k up now and Roman bares the blame for that. Kenyon is just following orders but the smug way that prick does his job gives us the right to hate that prick even more. Romans $$$$ mean he can do what the f**k he likes but, i wish to god he would hire some advisers based on their knowledge of the game & our club, not just cos they can speak Russian or are smarmy FFS As a business decision, Jose departure now is a total farce, i guess Roman did it cos he doesnt give a f**k about day-to-day stuff and the fact that we will struggle to finish in top 4 Prem, as for CL, game over already...
