We aren't playing 5 at the back though all game, it is a 3-4-3 with ability to have players drop back when required. As for goals, we have had the chances but just can't take them, once the confidence is there we should be cable of scoring a minimum of two goals per game.

Mason has been fantastic, what I have loved the most is his ability to dribble past players at times, as well as beat a man. You need players in the team like this to unlock stubborn defenses or teams that sit deep. This guy is just getting better and better and he is starting to ooze class.

Personally I would go both, chuck Giroud and Tammy their way with some cash..

I'd have him playing over Dave any day of the week. I actually feel Dave plays far too safe these days and it leads to us not breaking down teams quick enough.

For me until we improve on our midfield i.e Kovacic, Jorginho and Kante, we will lack creativity for our more attacking players. We could look at playing either Kovacic or Kante in the deeper role, with Mount and Havertz more ahead. I would want to give Havertz more play time as he will come good, but that won't happen if he is just stuck on the bench or coming on as a sub for 5/10 minutes. The guy would have been a better option than Pulisic in the False 9 position yesterday.

Because if you look at his career as a whole he can score as well as assist more than Pulisic ever could, he would have been far more effective as the False 9 considering he played that position at times for Leverkusen.

Havertz should have been on instead of Pulisic personally, I felt he could have given a better impact.

If we don't improve 10 minutes in to the second half get Havertz and Jorginho on for Ziyech and Kante. Ziyech just isn't up to speed yet.

That's a good starting XI with excellent options to bring on, especially with Werner, Havertz & Pulisic.

We are more than capable of scoring, we just need to click more in the final third and inject more creativity in the team. I would play Mount, Kovacic and Havertz as the three in midfield.

Tammy is a good back up striker and that's it, he will never be top drawer. He is a good lad but to play at the highest level and be consistent you need something more.

Once everyone clicks, including Ziyech, we should have a pretty formidable team.

We need to instill a fear factor against our opponents, that always gives you an advantage before a ball is even kicked. City always have it but Liverpool have lost their's. I think once the attacking half of the team clicks we will see a bigger improvement, plus we need to make sure we invest in a quality long term striker next season. I would even bring in Diego for the rest of the season, just so we have a horrible 'barsteward' up front getting involved causing defenders to think.

I really hope and pray we beat United, we have the squad to do so but we need to start with Giroud each game going forward as the main striker. They are the team that annoy me the most for some reason (just always jammy), especially that stupid 'suck the thumb' celebration from Penandes.

The one thing that frustrates me is how ref's allow the antics of Suarez to go unpunished, add to the that the constant surrounding of the ref from players like Koke is just ridiculous.

I actually think Mount not being available in the second leg will give Havertz his chance.

The problem with us for a while is that we don't put the ball into dangerous areas enough, our possession play is so easy to read. Players like James or Alonso shouldn't really be playing the ball back, we need them creating triangles with the midfield and attack, we need more of this to be able to create more dangerous situations to unsettle teams. I think we lack creativity in Kante, Jorginho and Kovacic, which then in turn affects the team as a whole. Look at the way Fernandes has made a difference at United, we need players with that mentality and ability.

Haaland is a priority. After that I'd go for both Lukaku and Martinez, send Tammy and Giroud the other way.
