Giroud for Tammy and CHO for James please for the second half. Still not sold on Kante in there.

Tammy is sh*te, he will never be a top drawer striker. We lack getting the ball into dangerous areas so often, we need to be better. Getting pretty bored of our back three and James playing possession football at the back zzzzzzzz.

Rhian Brewster has been a huge flop for Sheffield Utd, they paid about 23.5 million I think. The guy wasn't even used as a sub against West Ham last night.

This is another situation where injuries and a new league haven't really helped him, but he has to put in far more effort than he did last night and his passing overall has been pretty woeful and predictable. We do need a much better striker than Tammy or Giroud upfront though, I wish we could find another Drogba / Costa style player. Haaland is the perfect fit for us but we'll have a lot of competition to get him.

Ziyech has been absolutely pants.

Loving Werner's interview on Sky, seems pretty happy, I have no doubt he will be smashing goals in soon. Geez, some of the concern here is unreal. Prior to Tuchel coming in I actually didn't enjoy our last few games under Frank, but after that we have done pretty well without being spectacular.

What did they do to really cause us trouble though? All teams will have opportunities now and then, but they never looked like they could hurt us. From our point of view we need to threaten more when attacking but Werner looked twice the player today so hopefully that is a good sign.

As a professional footballer you must have some ability to shoot, especially as a midfielder. I'd have him shooting drills all day because if he had that in his locker he would be awesome.

I'd love to see Tuchel play Kovacic, Mount and Havertz in the midfield three, you could then bring Gilmour or Jorginho in if needed, but I believe those three would give the best balance and creativity we strongly need to feed our attackers, as well as score themselves. Well, apart from Kovacic 😆.

One thing we need is more physicality and creativeness in the midfield, I think it is difficult for our attackers when they hardly get the service from the middle.

Hopefully it'll be good to have Barkley back as I think he could do well under Tuchel, he'd also provide more of a threat from midfield.

In future I'd have Billy in the squad over Kante, he just doesn't fit this style of football.

You can clearly see our movement and passing speed is much better, but we do need more drive and inventiveness in the final third. Timo looked knackered in the last 20 minutes, personally I would have hooked him and left CHO on, and played Giroud further up. Spurs had a few moments but we were fully in control for most of the game.

Sigh, if only Kovacic could shoot or assist in the final third.

It is all about confidence, both players are still trying to fit in and adapt to the Premier League. Morata was a big wet lettuce from day one, i don't get that vibe from Timo & Kai.

Great professional performance from the team, the rest will come with our attackers once it clicks. Tammy unfortunately didn't have a great game, we also need to shoot a bit more outside of the box when in space, we had a few moments like that.

I would love to see our midfielders be more brave on the ball, rather than playing back or sideways make a turn and find some space to move into. Mount did that when he came on, and his clever turn in the box almost created an opportunity. Ziyech for me needs to be better, he looks half the player he was at Ajax currently. It all comes from confidence though and I'm hoping TT can instill that in the players when he gets longer training sessions with them. Sometimes rather than pushing all our players up we should entice the opposition forward and him them on the counter. I don't mind possession but it needs to have a purpose.

I don't think it will hurt using the new recruits on a regular basis though, the starting XI was being chopped and changed far to often.

Are we really that in shock about this. Frank will always be a legend at the club but unfortunately I just don't think he is cut out for the job, and has really struggled of late. As a team we have looked so devoid of ideas and have looked really average, and with the players we have that shouldn't be happening.

For me Frank needs to change our tactics and formation. I miss the old swash buckling counter attacking style we had, this slow possession based football has put me off watching games at times. We need to keep playing Havertz & Werner until it works.

I really hope we stuff this lot, I just want a nice convincing win rather than us making it hardwork at times.

Can we just give him time rather than getting on his back, he will come good.

It isn't poor when he sets up Pulisic to make it 3-1.
