  1. Well, I had never really thought that Ronaldinho would become a Chelsea player.
  2. Ballack. Two times in a row, good job!
  3. Ballack. Looked really impressive yesterday.
  4. Bad idea to sell Drogba. But it is still sad that many present players don't play with their heart for the team
  5. Anelka, mainly as an encouragement for his quick adaptation, but he also did great today.
  6. Hope they will play another 200 games for us.
  7. Petr Cech is my choice. He did great yesterday.
  8. Thanks for stats, it's almost always useful to analyse that sort of information. Well, coincidence or not, the best teams are playing the Latin style, of course adapted to England. Anyways, I thought that Arsenal plays short ball MUCH more than we do.
  9. Well done, Kalou! The game was kind of boring, but his brilliant goal energized me. I hope he will not waste his whole potential in Africa, and will leave some for Chelsea, too.
  10. A. Cole for me. But not all the way, unfortunateley not too good in going to attack.
  11. Makelele, obviously. Once more. He still has got some fuel inside. Maka is like some really enormous mountain in the middle of the field, that nobody is capable to climb.
  12. Mutu is doing great at Fiorentina. There actually might be not only life after Chelsea but also after cocaine consumption and ban to play. But generally I agree, players after Chelsea become bicycles in the Formula 1 championship.
  13. Mikel might become a great defensive midfielder, but he needs time and probably a team with lower expectations than Chelsea to play at for the next 2 - 2.5 years. It is always risky to make predictions about the future of some young, talented African player. In my opinion, they lack the discipline and pragmatism they could get as 8 year old kids at a good football Academy. They need to be supervised very close, and they will play like Weah, Eto'O, or Drogba. But they also may start getting red cards and collect scandal newspaper articles about them, start doing some cocaine and forget about practice, ending their career at some third division russian team.
  14. Not only Seedorf. What about Zidane transferring to Real and being great there? And Figo. And Ronaldo.
  15. How does that corelates with CHELSEA Players ?

Anyway, i think there is a world tendency to make football player prices lower. Nobody will ever buy somebody for the same price as Real bought Zidane in 2001.

    Anelka: 8-9 Huntelarr: 7-8 Drogba:16-16 Berbatov:14-15 Van Der Varrt:12-13 Modric:9-10 C.Ronaldo:25-30 Lampard:14-16 Kaka:23-27
  18. I didn't express myself quite right. I wanted to say that those were the three players with the biggest potential at the time. Onviously, they dissapointed everybody. If seriously, I choose Cech, Drogba, and Essien.
  19. Ronaldinho wouldn't be the worst choice, beacuse: - low price at the moment - strong desire to be one more time a top player - amazing talent - decent age - adaptability Still, for some reason I don't see him as a Premier League star. Football here is quiet different. But he is worth a shot.
  20. Cech A. Cole - Terry - Carvalho - Ferreira J. Cole - Lampard - Essien - Wright-Philips Shevchenko - Drogba Would be very interesting to watch, although I am not to happy that Ballack and Anelka are missing. Healthy competition always benefits the team, though.
  21. Any thoughts, ideas about our next game? Looks to me like some easy three points, although I would preffer a better team interaction and commitment than just a plain, sad, dry win. I am looking forward to what Anelka might do on Saturday, and maybe Sheva too. I would like them to score.
  22. Mutu,Veron, and Sheva - sounds extremely strange, but I can defend myself. Actually they did not make a difference at Chelsea, but they could. Mutu is naturally talented, quick, and brave. I guess once he just entered the wrong night club. Veron got lost because of the good midfielders at the time. Sheva is awesome, but under too much pressure and not made for Premier League, unfortunately. In Europe, if playing without Drogba, which never passes, he is able to smoke anybody.
  23. Not doing quite as good as 4-5 years ago, that's for sure... But Sheva is under more pressure than the whole team. The problem is obviously in spending too much money on him and regarding him at the beginning as a football Zeus.
  24. Anelka has/had some serious issues with discipline. But now he is older and wise (at least I hope so), and he might be amazing for a few years. Nobody denies that he is one of the most gifted football players that France delivered over the past decade.
