BlueBeard
Petr Cech - played a blinder. Good all round team performance though, Belletti ran Petr a close second
loz
Makelele for me - very much in the 1st half and still very good in the second
DimaCFC
voted for Cech, several crucial saves tonight.
Benji
Can we have a vote for Maka and Petr please!
munichblue
For me it was Maka once again beacause he was so important for our defence and has guranteed our success. Year after year I am still so surprised that such a small man can be so big....
The Brit
maka for me...most of cech's saves you'd expect him to make...maka bossed midfield and showed there is still a lot of life in the old dog
The Moos
It was between Maka and Cech for me today and since I've voted for Maka the last two times (I think) I went for Cech today. Just had a baby and played superb today (apart from a few stray passes). Maka was brilliant too and I still can't figure out why he got the yellow card. The ref was a t*at. P.S. Loz, you should have had an option for the supporters too. They were amazing.
sweet waffle
Maka for me, he was class tonight. Cech was a close second and a special mention for Anelka, who although he didn't score led the line brilliantly. Overall I reckon the whole team played well, even Sidwell!! Although he does look rather desperate when he's attacking, Sweep's pass to him late on was perfect for him to strike without breaking stride but he conspired to mess it up, lack of confidence or lack of ability? I'm afraid to say I think it's the latter. Still he tries hard bless him.
MURDOCH_(8)
Belletti-good going forward as per, but also sound defensively. Carvalho close second.
MURDOCH_(8)
P.S. Loz, you should have had an option for the supporters too. They were amazing. Spot on, I thought the fans were terrific and considering there wasn't a large amount, put Everton to shame
Gem
I'm voting for Cech and Maka... Cech just nicks it because of his reaction at the final whistle
Virosh
It was always between Maka and Cech tonight, though almost everybody had a good game. Maka lost it for me when he exchanged "nicities" with someone in a blue shirt (camera didn't show who it was) and, boy, he was really fuming. Even had to point to his armband. Not the kind of mentality you want from your captain.
superdan
The names above were all great but I'm going for Carvalho as Sky Sports did. Brilliant as usual. Cole could be there for a fantastic goal but otherwise he wasn't brilliant. Anelka looked very dangerous but no goal means no vote!
ethicalstrategy
I went for Carvalho, but it could just as easily been Maka or Cech. Great goal from Joe.
mad_mac
Petr, not even close for me. Okay, some others had good games, but Cech saved a great couple of shots that would have put a very different spin on this Cup tie, even with the efforts of Carvs, Maka, Belletti, Cole, etc Scott
Chippy
Maka for me, close with Cech, Carvalho, Belletti, Alex, Sweepy, Anelka, Joey, Bridge, Malouda and Sid...in that order Lovely ball from Malouda and take by Joe, even Pizarro looked ok when he came on. Attitude right Tactics right result right, Love it.
bjd
Ive gone Carvalho. Maka wouldve got it but i agree about the pointing at the armband thing. How good is our defensive at the moment anyway ? John who ? It will be really harsh on Alex when he has to make way.
just
I too voted Cech for his saves, they were class. But anyone looking at the votes so far would think we were under the cosh big-time. Truth is we weren't. For much of the game we were in command. For parts of the game we were in cruise control. And if the final ball had been better on any one of our numerous counter-attacks the result would have been comfortable. Expected much more from Everton. Both from their team and the fans. Guest
The whole defence was good, the attackers meanwhile...............not so good. I think we missed Ballack in midfield "tonight" (it was morning here), our midfield was a little rudderless and Sidwell doesn't boss a game the way Ballack does. paraphil
Close run thing between Petr and Maka for me. I plumped for Maka in the end. Little guy but BIG BIG player. I only wish he was 24 years old and not 34. Special kudos to the supporters too.
bennyboy1976
I had to go for Alex on this occasion, i was very dubious about him when he first came into the side, but he has coped absolutely brilliantly thus far, and with Carvalho marauding forward (not saying that's wrong by the way) sometimes, he kept his discipline superbly and held his position realy well, whilst winning everything. It was close as all the chaps done brilliantly, and our fans were unbelievable.

MadMickC.F.C.
Voted Cech. Top class saves by a World class goalkeeper. Joey`s goal was magnificent. Fantastic VOCAL support by the travelling Blue & White Army.
Alan
After much thought I have voted for Cech. He made a number of good saves...and he only had 3 hours sleep!
