Pretty much were I am now as well, when the kodi was new you used to be able to sit on a decent stream quite easily for an entire game, worst case scenario it was in russian. Now just to much demand. Paying a small fee for an IPTV (at you're own risk) still represents excellent value and much better stability.
  2. Mainly, he just has a manager who believes in him
  3. Everything I have seen of Conte at chelsea and at Juve indicate he doesn't have a preferred formation or rather his preferred formation is the one that wins him games, suits his players and the environment. I think he believes in order to play the 3-5-2 he needed to box to box center mids, Matic as much as i rate him prehaps didn't offer enough going forwards for conte to sacrifice the additional winger.
  4. Time is a funny thing, 2 or 3 years ago this entire forum was all about Shaw, you even whispered the name Bertrand you would chastised as an idiot for daring to mention the two in the same bracket. Any way, as someone who was very much against this two years ago, I'm not very much for it. Some times things just don't work out, the united move lookes like it was ill fated from the start. But we need a left sided wing back, Alonso has dipped of and I would say that is large due to sheer game volume. Shaw can off something different. for 15 mill i'd take a punt, we spent 40 mill on a back up center mid. If you can get the boy back to his southampton form you'd have a pretty decent player on you're hands.
  5. Kross is the only world class one out of the 3, Itzik is capable of brillianace but not world class, and if names on paper won games burnly and palace would be at least 3 points lighter so far this season
  6. Why make some one their not, he's an excellent attacking talent, can probably put his foot in and defend a bit but I don't see the point in trying to turn him in to a DM or even a box to box. next season, if conte is still here and we are still looking at this formation he could do very well in either the role Cesc played on sunday or as Hazard played, in support of a central striker
  7. Iv'e posted it before but worth saying again: Jose was a revolution to the game in 2003, he was the new kid on the block knocking down the doors of the established hire-achy. He brought with him new Ideas and philosophy. (in actual fact he's not all that different from Clough if you have read clough and Jose's biography they have the same view on a lot of things) and he was definitely special. BUT you could have made the same claim with Wenger once upon a time, and then he got swallowed up because the game moved, some could say Jose swallowed him up :) and the same is happening now to Jose, he's not light years ahead any more, he should still be considered a top manager, if just for his achievements, even last season he proved he know's how to get teams over the line, but it's harder then it was, the competition is tougher and more teams have money
  8. He played a massive part in the goal with out touching the ball. Watch his run take away the defender, morata might have been fine awy way but Baka made sure there was no one near him. Not all about what you do with the ball
  9. Was a major player in winning two titles. Massively underated and if you think he's Inconsistent then you have never watched him live because the TV cams don't do his performance justice. You get no TV credit for standing in the right place yet it's such a big part of the game
  10. Honestly not all that bothered about the "world class" label, that hasn't really worked out so well, i.e. Sheva, Torres... What has been successful is the ability to get the hot prospects, Essien, Drogba, Joe Cole, Hazard, Kante, Now Morata... those that are pretty obvious about to make the step up and just need the platform, either the club or the regular games. Hopefully Baka can step in to the bracket as well.
  11. We will never know how good or bad he actually was, how involved he was with various moves made both regarding new managers and players. You can't bag him for transfer dealings and at the same time not give him credit for others. The issue is we honestly don't know the truth. Rumor has it the in the summer Emanalo wanted Lukaku and Conte wanted Morata. If he was responsible for Hazard, Cahill, Kante, Willian and DAVE!! well done, but it's kind of obvisue that was was responsible for Dilabojy dogy, Hector? Baba Rahamman, and a few others that clearly were not on any of the managers shortlists. 2015 transfers where actually a bit of a Joke. Also I don't care what happened sunday selling Matic was a massive mistake.
  12. Isn't that what I just said above ?
  13. Old Ferguson, who didn't' want to do any more re-building, who was squeezing every last drop out of hat aging united team before he dumped them. in 1990, if you had told anyone Liverpool will not win a title again (or at least for 27 years) you might have been committed to an asylum. It was unthinkable. However Fergi is quoted as saying that they had recognized it, one of his assistance had pointed out to him that the Liverpool side were getting old together and little effort was being made on re-refreshing thing, they would slide and there would be an opportunity to move in to their place. You could argue that he learnt a pretty valuable lesson from that as he successfully re-built the united team again and again not allowing them to become to stale, you could also argue that no manager today would be given the time he was to achieve it... the spell between 2003 - 2006 where they finished 3rd 3rd and 2nd and dumped out of the Champions League group stages in 2006 in what was a pretty straight forward group would probably see most top managers sacked now days, but it proved divedens for united who then won 3 on the bounce and CL to boot. Coming back to the point. I have always believed that he didn't have another re-building job in him, come 2010 -13. That united team was pretty much on it's last legs, he wanted to go out on a high and he had to keep Rooney to help him get there. I think in an earlier ear you would have seen Wayne shipped out like the others
  14. He's exactly what i have always suspected him to be, a very limited and basic player who has some natural attributes that alow him to be a flat track bully. I initially thought he would get about 15 goals this season, reason being would be packed deference. He started well but again yesterday, he didn't occupy our defenders. You don't always have to score but sign of a good striker for me is how much are you working the defenders when its not going in the back of the net. Look at Morata, he got in-front of his man so may times, brought other players in to the game, not perfect, some mistakes with passing and finishing but i grantee you that none of the united back 3 enjoyed marking him. Lukaku is not in the same league as a Kane, Aguero or Costa.
  15. I'd go along with this, Rudiger is technically far better for me. Although I really don't like seeing Dave go out to wingback, think we lose a lot when he goes out there. Zouma has that breakout part of a season before he suffered the Injury but that was at the hear of a deference that was shocking. We really don't know how good he can be the truth is that Conte clearly wants a defense that can pass and receive the ball under pressure (seems to be new style of things) nothing I have seen in Zouma suggests he can fit that mold
  16. Makes defenders work the whole game. No one is getting a free ride while marking him. Some times thought, just whack it
  17. And if we look closer to home, Conte very quickly identified Ivan and Terry as being a tad past there best days and dropped both, the former a definite member of the player hire-achy the latter a club legend. The good of the team first every time.
  18. Clearly he's not a holding midfielder, and there for we saw him struggle when he played with Fabrergas.. yesterday box to box he looked excellent with a slight astrix over his finishing and final ball, he's still young though so practice will put those areas right.
  19. Iv'e always been a bit supporter of Luiz, excused his frailty's due to his character and versatility. But the manager must come first, especially one as good as Conte. Look at the ferguson hit list over the years. Ince, Sparky, kean Beckham, Stam - with the exception of maybe Hughes and Kean (on the way down a bit), All considered top level and world class players at the point of exit, all shown the door because the manager decided they had crossed the line. No player is bigger then the club and the manager should always be backed, if after you have backed the manager both financially and in the dressing room you still haven Arsen Wenger... well time to get rid
  20. That luiz openly questioned Conte's training methods and tactics. Please note the "IF"
  21. If rumors are true, needs to go in Jan
  22. Turn on conte ?? I'd get rid of every member of the hierarchy, roman apart before conte we are lucky to have him. Id assume that all three center backs that ran to the same player will be made to watch that sh*t again and again while getting a complete dressing down. If conte is sacked , and I assume he will be ( because that's how the club operates ) I don't see anyone doing a better job..
  23. Yap, we lack leaders, we lack nasty personalities ( on the pitch ) that hate loosing so much they will run through brick wAlls. This is the best impression of Arsenal I have seen in some time
  24. Just don't think there is a place for a fabregas in the modern game at the top level, the engine room is just not an engine room
  25. Just highlighting that the further back you go the more it's your fault :)
