Roma Vs Chelsea (CL) Tue 31st Oct 2017 KO 19:45 GMT
Oh to be a defender ( or goal keeper) hazard squandering the one on one was just as bad as the defensive errors. He should have come across the defender and open up the goal.

No one should be shocked, we are Chelsea we do everything the hard way

Cesc Fabregas
But united seem to be able to include Mata and city silva
-
Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
I think Michy should have come on straight away, Hazard has never worked in that role, if not michy then pedro who seems to have a better strikers instinct. I agree with Fabregas assessment but worth remembering he played in a central 2 against city last season and we picked up 6 points. The issue is the gap between Cesc's skill set and lets say, pedro, willian, Kante, Bakayako is massive, none of them are even close to him when it comes to being able to control the tempo of a game and pick the right option. Unfortunately when it comes to doing much else he's a bit of a passenger. I don't watch enough of other teams but from the bits iv'e seen it seems that spurs have it working some what with Errikson, prehaps he's more athletic.

That's wasn't even a foul they both had their feet up

Alvaro Morata
On Morata, he himself has admitted he needs time to adapt to the league, not that i have a problem with his ability with the ball on the deck, i think he's pretty damd good. Have every confidence it's going to come and in the mean time the fact that he's so good in the air takes a lot of the pressure of him. Problem we have is Dave is the only one who can actually put a cross in (it was him who put the sitter in against spurs right) Moses, Alonso and Pedro made Crossing look very very hard this weekend....

Alvaro Morata
Fixed it for you... it doesn't matter if you're Jewish or not....

Leicester Vs Chelsea (PL) Sat 09 Sep 2017 KO 15:00 GMT
Think it's harsh on Willian not to have been included.. guy has had a great start to the season. I dont think we might see these 3 in the middle for large stretches of the season

Baba Rahman - The heir to Ash?
How bad must van ginkle be not to even make the squad when it's the area of the pitch we are most lacking

Diego "the guv'nor" Costa
You know a full interview was apparently conducted with Diego in Brazil and no picture of the text has surfaced that I'm aware of. (Have I missed it) I don't doubt that a text was send but I bet th context is very different
-
Zappacosta
Sky now confirming it's done
-
Zappacosta
Not sure if it's been posted but apparently will be done tonight - all over twitter various sources. Know nothing about him
-
Kylian Hazard
That's a contract extension for Eden sorted out then
-
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
I'm a fan of the ox, have been for a couple of seasons. But he will need games. I always feel that if you're getting squad fillers, always better to go a bit older. Be interesting to see how conte uses him. For me he's more atacking focused and don't see him as better wing-back then Moses. One thing for sure, he has been completely mismanaged by wenger
-
Most misused player?
Misused being heavily confused for not used can't really say KdB was misused, he simply didn't get games. Same with Luis, he wasn't played out of position, he just couldn't get games for some reason . For me Essien, criminal every time he was played at right back

Andrea Belotti
It's also got barley any substance to it

Spuds Vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 20 Aug 2017 KO 16:00 GMT
glimpsed some posts that say on another day, bla bla bla.. and we were lucky bla bla bla... It's called, organisation, shape and defending and a game plan. And if this was a seria A game in the mid 90's there would be absolutely no discussion as to who the better team was Having now see Chelsea under conte for the last year, it's clear to see that he isn't 100% brought in to this pure high press thing. Our team seems to go through periods of the game where they will use it and others where they will get in to shape, conserve some energy and make it hard to pull them out. To put this in to context, Ali, one of the best goalscorers from midfield and a player who seems to have similar movement and goal scoring instincts to frank had one touch in the box! on touch. Is it lucky that we prevented one of their biggest threats having any of the ball were he can hurt us. As the game went on you saw him more and more turn up on the left wing, exactly where you would want to have such a player show up. How many balls did Ericsson manage to whip in from open play? like he had in previous games that hurt us. He was was smothered out of it. And as the game wore on spurs got more and more fatigued, before the goal came you could see they didn't have the legs under them as much and even after going 1-1 the game was swinging towards us. Was it the perfect game, no, could we have kept the ball better for periods, absolutely... but it was not a lucky result, it was reward for executing a game plan that was effective and nullified spurs biggest assets

Tiémoué Bakayoko
I really need to read back, the list is pretty close to mine but I will say that of the 25 years it seems to ignore the first 10 of them.
-
Tiémoué Bakayoko
Ok lets do it, based on the above all center mids our covered Patrick Viera, Roy Keane, Frank Lampard, Paul Scholes, Makalele, Bryan Robson, Xabi Alonso... yap so I would probably stick him in at this point, maybe along side an Essien, I would personanly also stick Gary Macalister in there as an outside call. Gaza unfortunately long passed his best when he'd come back to the prem

Barkley
Or offer 8 million based on the fact that he's out of contract at the end of the year, that way you don't open you're self up to a free for all. Thats if a team actually wanted him in general. Seeing as he's not a priority, try and pick him up on the free
