Looking very sharp in pre season and destined to start the season on the right side of a front three, might just take some dislodging!

Early I know but he really does look like he’s going to be massive for us in the new season. He looks fitter, faster , stronger and definitely more confident with a pre season under his belt. now to just get him in his best position off a true number 9!

In midfield After what I see today RLC gets the 4th midfield spot vacated by Billy that’s if he’s happy to be 4th choice. Barkley to go for me doesn’t look up for the fight and set piece delivery was terrible. drinky not good enough!

So isn’t 1 week/1 week and a half pre season classed as rushing it ? i agree it’s good for them to get a good break but a short pre season could end in disaster for some. Cant see anyone of them being up to speed by the 11th but I hope I’m wrong.

Anyone got any idea when the England/Italian contingent return to training ? leaving it very tight for some of our best players starting the season the last thing we will want is a slow start !

I like your post it was well put together until your last few words. Shame you let yourself down. firstly let me offer my best wishes that you recover from your accident speedily and fully, never a nice thing to happen. secondly I think it is harsh to be disappointed with our fans (or any fans for that matter) in the current climate. Who knows what hardship is bestowed on people atm and with the added hassle of COVID tests etc I don’t blame anyone for not going. Who wants to do a day trip to a European final costing you the best part of £800 and all u see is the inside of the ground. Not me for sure there is more to European away trips than that. we took an estimated 30,000 to Stockholm (including yours truly) and I’m sure in normal circumstances we would have flooded the city wherever it was played. and thirdly, I wish I was a boy as you put , my old bones are creaking and I long to be as fit as I once was but if it made you feel good to end your post with it then it served a purpose. we are all blues let’s get behind the team we love wherever we may be watching it !

I think it will be tough to get him this season with westham qualifying for Europe.

A great servant to the club who conducts himself impeccable without fuss after what could be seen as shocking handling by management. A true professional. If only he had pace he would be some striker! I hope he gets some minutes in the final and a decent transfer afterwards.
