Potentially yes but we are currently miles away from City in attack. We need a top class striker. defensively we need 2 centre backs as at most we have 1 more season of Silva if we are lucky. Personally I think Tuchel may well switch to a back 4 once he gets to know and see’s each players attributes more in matches and training or improved the defensive personnel in the summer.

Didn’t do himself many favours yesterday, going forward and defending he looked a little lacklustre. I think being replaced by Alonso (who has took his chance well tbf) has dented his confidence a bit and it definitely showed yesterday. hopefully he will snap out of it as I think he’s definitely a better option long term than Marcos

In a 4-3-3 Gareth has this potential of Mount rice saka Foden Kane grealish add to that Sterling Rashford Sancho Maddison Calvert Lewin and even Callum if he continues his form and England’s team options looks formidable going forward if only he can get the defence and goalkeeper right!

Maybe his niggling injuries have blunted his pressing this far and as he gets fitter he will fit in just right. agree about his wand of a left foot. The minute we get what we have to or buy someone who can get on the end of some wonderful deliverers of the ball we have in abundance in the squad the better!

This lad potentially has everything, the trouble is it seems to come to easy to him which makes him look a bit sluggish at times (completely different player but David Luiz is a bit like this) His ball control is fantastic and his delivery superb but as some have stated he needs to take more risks with an early pass or cross instead of the safety first backwards ball. Early in the season his early first time crosses were causing havoc though we rarely got anyone on the end of them. I could possibly see him moving infield to more a more central midfield roll as he gets older or then again the right of a back 3 he’s that versatile.

Callum has shown amazing maturity and a willingness to learn which is a credit to him. Has upped his work rate and has bulked up a bit which makes him very strong on the ball and hard to dispossess.

Has he got the work rate to compete with mount that Tuchel wants? I know he has the skill set and delivery but in this system it’s vital the two behind the strikers continually press.

Anyone else wonder how he’s going to fit in in the system Tuchel has started with? Don’t get me wrong I’m a massive fan of Ziyech but I’m not sure where he plays in this system.

There are a good few that have played a lot of minutes under Tuchel and need a rest. Mount Werner Jorginho Azip and Kovacic shouldn’t be anywhere near this game. starts for Zouma Gilmore Kante Ziyech Haverts and Tammy a must.

Works so well with Mason when we press high they frighten the life out of most Defenders drawing mistakes.

Has done well covering for Silva and I think he might get the chance to hold his place when Silva returns to see if he can play alongside him. Never really been a fan but credit where credits due he deserves a run of games and looks more comfortable in a 3

When will we ever learn that if you want to play 3 at the back and look to play out from the back regularly then the left centre back needs to be left footed! He looks so clumsy when he lets the ball run across him then has to either try and pass with his week left foot or try to manoeuvre his body round so he can play it with his right. So any time the opposition put any pressure on him it’s an accident waiting to happen. I know that’s not how the goal came about but it happened a few times in the game. I have to praise him for his attitude after the mistake, his effort never wained and he made some important blocks. For me we should go for someone like Mings at villa. He has improved immensely the last season or so (JT influence) and would see us much more balanced.

Born and bred in the hardcore Hammers territory of Barking. Brother was 11 years older than me and stipulated I was a Chelsea supporter from the day I was born. He took me regularly in the 70s as a nipper before I was old enough to go alone as well in the early 80s. Many tube journeys almost the length of the district line for home games made for a fun time when we played the Spammers. why my brother supported Chelsea I don’t know as my Dad was a gooner!

3 stand out performances in Mason Callum and Thiago today with Kova and Dave not far behind. got to give it to Thiago, never missed a header or a tackle and played some good crisp forward passes. Someone check his passport, unbelievable for 36 !

He’s been out best player for months

Much better today, much sharper in the passing and movement compared to the Wolves game. People will say it was only Burnley but remember they were in a great run of form.

Different class again today. Everything we do goes through him and has to be the first man on the team sheet whoever our manager is! He is turning into one of the most complete players in the premier league and with better shooting today he could of bagged himself a goal or two.

Agree completely, loan to the end of the season. these last 2 games were perfect for him to get some game time and should have started at least one of them especially with Kante unavailable.
