Everything that Mata's
we've gone from the unavoidable know all section(that permeates every website I'd have thought) stating that mata's going nowhere line to 'well f***k him then' and he hasn't even left yet!. God I love football.

Players inability to use their weaker foots?
I've seen cole do it too, one went straight to danny welbeck and he said thank you very much and made it 3-0 to Sunderland! another occasion i saw him with the ball on his left peg turning into fernando torres (and looking extremely awkward I'll add) maybe because he wasn't comfortable on his right torres took the ball off him and guess what?. Probably decided to cut his losses after that and stick to doing it at training.

MOTM vs Hull (A) (PL)
I respect your opinion, but for me Cole was nowhere near our best player today. However once he got over his problem with elmohammady he had a good game for a change. For me Willian had a more productive game than Cole, for one.My motm was Hazard. He had 2 men on him for most of his time ,and was a constant threat. I'd like a new lb next season, but don't be surprised if Cole is still with us.

Arsenal v Chelsea (PL) 23/12/13 KO 20:00 GMT
Excellent performance from the team although we wasted our opportunities somewhat.the defence was solid , including azpi, Ashley who ?

Sunderland v Chelsea (COC) 17/12/13 KO 19:45 GMT
you're right,( but you could also say the same about some of our fans)but this has been the case imo for a long time. There are some more than others wo are guilty of this, and my guess is that it will resurface against Derby.

Chelsea v Steaua Bucharest (CL) 11/12/13 KO 19:45 GMT
I saw as well as heard the 'turgid display' and trust me cole especially didnt do anything other than ordinary today. If we do see less and less of dave it will for me be another example of an 'untouchable' getting way too much undeserved playing time.

Ryan Bertrand - Should He Have Gone?!
you're probably right, but in all honesty do you think he should (on his overall form so far this season) be able to just swan back in to the starting eleven, given that his replacement is playing so well?
-
Ryan Bertrand - Should He Have Gone?!
Maybe that story is crap, but mourinho knows he has options there. As some of you may know I dont have much time for cole, and I think he has sometimes taken his 'untouchable' status for granted, especially lately where he turns up for the bigger teams and not for the smaller ones imo. I wouldn't have a problem if he has to scrap it out for his place with either bertrand or dave for the rest of the season because frankly 'the best left back in the world' hasn't earned his spot so far this season.

Loosing Patience with Jose for not starting MATA
interesting post fanboy, however I can tell you now we didn't all want him back. I (and trust me I personally know a good few more)wasn't one of the pining lot that have been going on since 2007. I could have taken it or left it when I heard he might be coming back.Mourinho and abramovich never fully seeing eye to eye on all things chelsea, was and is one of my concerns.Does anyone really know why he left in the first place. As for fans losing patience, whats new mate?.We have fans, old and new who are beginning to resemble Arsenal and Liverpool fans with their sense of entitlement imo.Mourinho won the title in his first season at a canter and as such 'spoiled' certain fans with a new set of expectations, far removed from the ones that we were accustomed to beforehand. Admittedly we've come a long way since the days where not getting relegated, having a good cup run (with a couple of good away days thrown in) and beating our nearest rivals was viewed as a good season.

The headhunters?
Speaking only for myself I never said that it was everybody, and I certainly never suggested all the people that did it (and yes there were quite a few) were skinheads. As for how rife it was,I guess that's down to your interpretation of the word. I know what I saw and heard, and at that particular time I was going regularly to matches, so I stand by my earlier post.
-
The headhunters?
I went to school with a bloke who took a black friend down to the bridge (in the 70's) telling him he would be ok, and the first thing that happened to him when they got in there was a skinhead trying to give him a leaflet with save a job deport a w## on it!. My first game was in 82 and though I've no idea when it started it was still rife, so it sh#ts me when people who know better try and airbrush history. So what if there were a few black hooloigans around back then, the amount of people I personally saw doing monkey chants (and various other comments) at our own players let alone the opposition will never be forgotten by me,and anyone who was there and says it wasn't so is a LIAR!

well done mourinho It must have been hard for him to leave out his 'untouchables'. Common sense 1 sentimentality 0

Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/11/13 KO 12:45 GMT
I have no doubt that lampard will be back among the goals soon enough, but do you think he should be allowed to play his way back into form considering we now have a strong squad with real competition for places, or his place be in jeopardy like most of the others?
-
Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/11/13 KO 12:45 GMT
I apologise scott if it seems like I was calling you out. That was not the case. I was stating that this is not a recently arrived at opinion, and used our discussion as a reference point, and I never accused you of wanting frank to play every game, in fact you agreed on a comment I made a few weeks ago about mourinho's contradiction after saying we should wrap lampard in cotton wool, then playing him as often as he has.

Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/11/13 KO 12:45 GMT
If you mean me englishman i'm more than happy to be one of the good few. While we're at it I'm also one of the good few that show up here to defend all the players who are deemed 'not chelsea quality' before they have even kicked a ball in anger for us or when in their first season.

Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/11/13 KO 12:45 GMT
But you can question why they are picked (when fit ) for every PL game.

Newcastle v Chelsea (PL) 02/11/13 KO 12:45 GMT
No not a secret police force but there are definitely a good few who will arc up if you dare to criticise him with a 'how dare you' attitude. The truth of the matter in my opinion is since mourinho returned all of frank's christmases have come at once. I dont care if i get flamed for it scott harris and I discussed frank last season with him accusing me of not liking him. That's not the case, but. Just because he's a legend doesn't mean he has a god given right to start nearly every league game.Forget the sentimentality and the he 'plays his way into form' rubbish,if he's not playing well he should be dropped like anyone else. Like someone else has already posted he will probably get his fair share of goals later in the season and there will probably be a clarion call for a new contract with rhetoric like'you just dont do that to a legend'. I wonder if another coach had got the job would he have started 8 league games out of ten?

MOTM vs Cardiff (H) (PL)
a couple of ifs in there joey, cant see us 'storming the league' personally but we'll see. Anyway Hazard motm, Terry good Oscar when he came on Lampard second half Bertrand ok Willian was good at coming back and nicking the ball away especially in the first half. ivanovic's crossing was woeful, not his best game. Ramires not as influential as usual.Ridiculous mistake by Luiz, but he had a better game than Ivan imo.Happy for eto'o and hope that his match fitness returns asap because were gonna need him with all the important games coming up. Glad to see dave get a run out as well after Mourinho's 'masterstroke'.

Chelsea v Cardiff City (PL) 19/10/13 KO 15:00 BST
Why dont you extend your kindness a bit further and give lampard a rest. I read on another website recently (from one contributor) that they seee Lampard staying on next season but in a'further reduced role'. futher reduced?
-
MOTM vs Steaua Bucharest (A) (CL)
well imo there were two, three at the most to choose from and no that does not include lampard even though he scored! ramires a player who as recently as last season was having his existence in the team questioned by some on here (they know who they are). Very happy for schurrle also,im always glad when a player who has been at the club for two minutes (and has been prematurely condemned as not being 'chelsea quality' by some) plays well.

Josh McEachran - Future at Chelsea?
You've got to love an 'expert' who seemingly judges a player after next to no time in a chelsea shirt. I remember the same thing happening with Ramires. Pathetic!
