  1. The Young Knives supported by Lightspeed Champion, Ungdomskulen (or something like that) and Ida Maria (although I missed that bit). Was quality, Lightspeed is a legend... decided to make a song last 11 minutes by just sticking in the Star Wars Imperial March randomly.

I seriously love this guy, it's ridiculous... one of my aims to see him. I saw this live as my first proper gig.
  3. F**k! For a 100 Euros I might buy him... I might buy two actually.
  4. I reckon it's a bit soft in the middle.
  5. Despite wearing unbelievably cool clothing and smoking a pipe, he still looks like a dick... I think it's the facial expression.
  6. I think the reason people have reacted so badly to today's match, both the performance and the result is just how well we played in America. We looked so damned impressive before today and hopes were so high. So when things don't look so rosy, people who don't like the diamond formation, people who aren't fans of Ancelotti, get worried. Hell I'll admit that earlier today I was getting nervous before the realisation of what today actually means set in. It means nothing. If we play like that next week, then we can worry, but until then we have no reason to. I don't like it when people have a pop at the manager, and agree it's ridiculous to have a go when he hasn't even played a competitive match yet.... god I was going somewhere with this, I promise. I'm lost, so I'll leave it there.
  7. Couldn't be PORTUGUESE for Julian then?
  8. Except we don't have one to perform the 'Pirlo' role... Anyway, moving away from that debate which has gone on for too long and besides I'm right anyway Would Balotelli count as a Marquee signing? West ham are reported to be going after him with an £8m bid... surely we should jump at that? I'm sure Sheva will be on his way out, Pizarro will be off to Bremen and Di Santo will be loaned to Blackburn for first team football. So we'd just have 3 strikers. Bringing in Balotelli, who is surely good enough to get into the side. He scored 9 goals in 28 games in all competitions last season for Inter... and has only just turned 18. £8m is surely a steal for him?
  9. They won't sell to foreign owners.
  10. So you don't think Ribery is good enough to play at the tip of the diamond? With a side looking something like this... Cech Bosingwa Carvalho Terry Cole Mikel Essien---- Lampard Ribery Drogba Anelka I'm fairly sure that's where he would have played had we signed him. It also gives us an easier way of moving into Plan B, which I'm fairly confident would be a 4-3-3. I don't really agree at all with your assertion that we're 'blagging our way to success', because that implies that we're not good enough to succeed. If we're not good enough to succeed... we won't. Football isn't Poker, you can't bluff.
  11. They need a holding midfielder more than Van Der Vaart and they probably don't even need a striker if you look at it. They've got Eduardo, Bendtner, Arshavin, Van Persie and Vela who can all play up front, so I think they're fine there. I was consorting with the enemy earlier today and said that they should probably try desperately to get De Rossi in with all of Roma's financial problems, and while they're there , they might as well get Mexes to partner Gallas. Obviously that'd never happen, but a more likely option would be Fernandes/Sunny Sunday or whatever his name is now from Valencia or possibly Toulalan. They'll need a new centre back too though, and I'm not sure who's likely there, but still, a striker and a creative midfielder isn't exactly what they need.
  12. Pato rejected us for Milan I believe.
  13. Jesus titty f**king Christ. :) .....
  14. I just don't think Pirlo classes as a Marky Mark and the funky bunch signing.
  15. So I imagined Pato playing the other night? :P If it's a signing to impress JT with ambition, Pato is more likely to do that than Pirlo.
  16. Damn you for beating me to it. I just spent my time scouring youtube for the music video.
  17. Actually logging in and out is a little boring too :D
  18. The bit after logging in and the bit before logging out. :D
  19. Actually I have it on good authority that Matias De Federico from Huracan is the next Messi.
  20. I think it's based on the fact that we wanted Pirlo, but certain sections (of supporters) were worried that he couldn't hack the pace in the Premiership, so they picked a want-away player who performs the same role in the Premiership. There is logic involved, I don't think it'll happen though.
  21. Wasn't aware of that, cheers for the info though. I'd better not become an accountant any time soon then
  22. Surely the top players would use off shore holding companies so they don't have to pay the 50% tax rate?
  23. Well some teams do use kick-boxing to get fit in pre-season, so it could well work!
