I can’t believe fans are even considering selling Kante. We have no one in our current team better than him in his position. He’s world class. All this seems to be because of a weak last season, in which we heavily relied on him as our only world class player and played him injured on a number of occasions, further impacting his ability to reach 100% fitness. The numbers being banded about for him are sickeningly low. For me Kante in inexpendible.

Really happy to see our manager get his man! So often in the past we’ve seen the managers nose get put out of joint by the club bringing in a sub-par version of the player they wanted. Really excited to see Ben play for us and I hope all those people whining about other left backS we could have got cheaper or they believe are better than Chilwell, drop it, hold their tongues and get behind our boy.

I just have visions of him turning up to his next club, starting well before fizzling out and doing an Ozil with his contract. Once that runs out, straight to Newells and finally back to barca in a corporate capacity.

A buy back clause doesn’t worry me one bit. It just means he’ll play his heart out for a couple of seasons in the hopes they come back for him. We make a profit and get a couple of years out of a top performing left-back.

I’d like to see him go straight out on loan to an English club. Toughen him up in the lower leagues at somewhere like Sunderland.

Rice comes across to me as a player I’d love while at Chelsea but will never be as good as I want him to be. I’d love him to come and prove me wrong though.

For me Oblak is a dream. So we can discount him entirely. Worth every penny but we won’t pay that. I’d be asking why Barca are willing to let Ter Stegen go. Onana for me.

I like Aarons of Norwich and if reports are to be believed, so do Bayern. Although I do accept we are pretty comfortable at right back.
