Posted July 26, 20204 yr No links as of yet but young and an upgrade on Kepa, Milan not making Champions league Worth a punt?
July 26, 20204 yr He would be my personal choice. I see others putting Onana,Rajkovic and others but to me this guy is basically the next Buffon and his contract is only till 2021.
July 26, 20204 yr Wow, didn’t realise he has 1 year left. Go get him. Though Mino Raiola is his agent. Might put the club off

July 26, 20204 yr Really cant see us dealing with Raiola, after he played hardball over Pogba and Lukaku and we eventually lost out. He would be a quality signing, but Raiola is serious baggage, he does interviews, questioning the running and management decision of his clients clubs. Not sure we need that sort of side show.

Thats fair enough, but the 2nd part of me laughing at it shouldn't apply here. Rumma is top class, and its quite insane to think hes still only 21 despite the number of games he's played and how many seasons he has under his belt.

I have doubts on Oblak. I think if we are spending more than 50m on a keeper we are wasting our resources.

Yeah I think we should try go for him, not sure if he's even available to sell though. Maybe some sort of swap deal sending Bakayoko and Christensen that way (Milan have been linked with wanting both) and we get Rumma coming the other way

July 30, 20204 yr 1 year left and he's only 21 is quite mind blowing. he's also 6ft5 which gives me a bit more confidence over Kepa. Anyone know if he's ok with low shots? Tibo was plenty tall, but had a hard time getting down to low shots in close to his body.
July 30, 20204 yr AC Milan will probably try to extend his contract. It's an opportunity for us at this point but if they promise him that many other players will join AC Milan he might choose to stay and sign a new contract.
July 30, 20204 yr In all honesty is this guy any good or is he just a young keeper who comes good in FIFA? He had a lot of hype around him because of the age he was when he made the first team which I admit was impressive, but that seems to have died down. Just thinking if a young Italian goalkeeper who was as talented as some say he is came on the scene Juve would have already signed him up? Has anyone watched him regularly to give an opinion on his strengths and weakness and anyone you would compare him to?
July 30, 20204 yr Whoscored says he has a weakness at saving long shots LOL, so he's got that in common with Kepa.

But too many errors compared to the world class. Then again, very young, so a lot of room to improve. Edit: and has a pretty WAG. Edited July 31, 20204 yr by Night-T

You do have to take into consideration that he's currently in goal for one of the poorest AC Milan teams of all time so thats a bit unfortunate. You can bet your ass that if he current Juventus goalkeeper, he'd be classeda s one of the worlds best without a question
July 31, 20204 yr Makes simple things look difficult, brilliant on his day but as United are finding out with De Gea over the course of a season the weaknesses outweigh the positives. Not worth the wages Raiola will likely demand, imo. Edited July 31, 20204 yr by the special one
August 23, 20204 yr Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano Raiola to @SkySport: “Matthijs de Ligt will stay at Juventus, he’s the future. I’ve not started any talk with AC Milan to extend Donnarumma contract (just one year left, 2021) because they’ve other priorities... we’ll see”.
August 24, 20204 yr Would love to see him come here...young but experienced, and clearly needs to be at a club where fans don't throw paper money at his feet from the stands...

Me too, he will be the first choice of Italy for years to come and he has a lot of good physical attributes as well. The fact that AC Milan wants to keep buying and buying makes me think that they don't want to offer him a contract yet because they want to push for a CL spot in Serie A next season and then secure his stay, it's a gamble from their side and a nice opportunity for us.
August 24, 20204 yr He's only 21 but it feels like he has been around for a lot longer. Edited August 24, 20204 yr by Scott Harris
