only got 12 months left on his contract, milan fell foul of ffp a couple yrars ago, so i dont think they could afford for him to leave on free.

I dont think the transfer fee will be the issue. It will be raiola's agent fee, and the astronomical package he wants.

Yeah based on Marinas reputation as a difficult negotiator and Rinoas own well earned reputation we may want to stay away from any player he represents.

Feels like another player and his agent playing the game to get a better contract extension...it's a shame because I highly rate this guy and would be delighted to have him between the posts at The Bridge

That isn't always enough for some players though. If AC Milan don't get back to their old levels and don't start winning trophies again, then he may eventually want to leave.

This rumour suits all parties. his agent let it know Milan had not opened talks on a new deal,clearly unhappy about it. So this either kickstarts bidding (I.e. Milan want to sell/he wants to go), or he gets a new deal there.

For us maybe Rennes agree to drop the price of Mendy as we look to be moving to another target.

I don’t buy that. He had a very public fallout with the fans a few years back because he asked for a transfer.

The difference is he’s been playing steadily for Milan since he was 16. Much more experienced and established than any other 21 year olds in recent memory.

I think I’d be happy with Donnarumma. He’d have to speak English, communication very important at the back.

Raiola has been angling him towards Juventus for half a decade already. We can be certain that Raiola's only concern is to do whatever nets him the biggest payday.

Googling it there is no Italian news suggesting anything with Chelsea is happening. Raiola may want a low release clause in return for an extension with salary rise.
